Checking in was done smoothly and when I got into my room, I found out that the TV remote wasn’t working. After 2-3 phone calls to the front desk and an hour later, they only managed to get the maintenance guy to come and replace the TV remote. Not a good start for my stay.
The hotel looks clean and well maintained. The room was kept well although I had a little issue with the sliding door of the toilet. The toilet/bathroom area in my opinion is really meant to be kept opened up as if you pull the sliding door/partition out, going in and out became a big hassle. Water from the shower also easily splashed out to the toilet area.
The sound proofing of the room is bad. Through the night, the traffic noise was clearly heard and I guess that is why they provided ear plugs in the room. I could also clearly hear the noise when other guests were opening and closing their doors, and when they talked and laughed at the corridor.
Definitely a turn off for light sleepers who don’t like to wear ear plugs when sleeping!
