Hotels Near Lookout Point Facing Kuchai Lama in Kuala Lumpur

We arrived at the hotel from our long haul flight at 6pm and we wanted to take a shower, however we didn’t have any in the room. We contacted management and they said the laundry wasn’t delivered yet so we had to wait. They arrived at 10pm. There was a small makeup stain on the bed linen, and the main bedroom light wasn’t working. These were only major problems, because the overall stay was lovely. Comfortable bed, fantastic gym and swimming pool, and friendly staff. I would book again, hopefully the towels will already be in the room to begin with!

Overall accommodation and ambience is good and comfortable. Location is strategic and convenient for travelling to shopping malls. Need to improve on the hotel cleanliness as some bedsheets and floor are dirty.

Pros:  Good customer service. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast Good Gym Location wit lots of food Comfy beds Cons:  Dusty rooms. I sneeze the moment i get in there. Need to wear mask when i am in the room. Even after change room, the 2nd room is even more dusty. Clocked bath. for every 3 minutes shower, I need to stop showering for 2 minutes to let the water flow before i can continue shower.  Need to pay deposit for slippers in the room.  No laundry bag in room.  This hotel just deteriorated over the years. 

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location itself is in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. Albeit the hotel itself is busy. This is one of the downsides is around the delay for checking in. The pool is good with a nice view from the top and we'll equipped gym. Breakfast is good, not a massive range but the price is potentially worth it. The shower screen is quite small, so easy to get the bathroom wet and the pillows aren't great. Thatbeingsaid I did have a good sleep and would potentially stay in the hotel again on my next trip.

I arrived at 0020am. Got free upgraded to grand deluxe room. I extended my stays and also can remain on the same room (even i booked standard room). Very spacious room and toilet. I went to work for 2 days at Kepong and left my 10yr old boy alone. This place is safe. Dont worry about ghst or anything else.

New and Clean Hotel, good service, polite and friendly hotel staff Nice Location, in between Abdullah Hukum LRT Station & The Gardens Mall and Mid Valley Mall Nice breakfast with a lot variety of food And great surprise for the birthday deco and cake, overall everything is nice and value for money, will stay here again on next visit to KL

Was at this hotel for 2 nights under their Half Board Package during CNY period and my review as follows: 1) Location It is attached to a quiet/dead mall but thankfully there were a lot of cafe, restaurants, small eateries and marrybrown fast food. There is also a 24 hours supermarket in the mall. Parking is chargeable at RM8 per day with multiple entries. Parking is ample and spacious and safe. IMO, the parking rate for hotel guests should be reduced as the hotel is located in old klang road/almost puchong and not in the city centre. 2) Buffet Breakfast The spread is good and the service staff especially Miss Lavenia (not sure if i spell her name correctly) is outstanding. Lavenia really make sure our dining experience at the restaurant is well taken care of. Thank you so much. The roti canai station guy is also very friendly towards my family request. Thank you once again for the nice breakfast dining experience. I also noticed all the managers/supervisors at the restaurant are quite hardworking and friendly. They helped to clear plates and make sure the buffet are well replenished. 3) Premium Room 2225 & 2226 Because we are taking the half board package, we were given room upgrade. The room is spacious, modern and comfortable. Toiletries are also of acceptable standard. It does feel like a good modern 4 star city hotel room from an international chain. 4) Swimming Pool & Gym The gym is quite good and spacious and clean. The pool however is a bit small and crowded and doesnt look nice for a new building complex. 5) Half Board Package Under this package, i will also be given rm100 dining allowance per room per stay at their restaurant as well as RM30 grab voucher per room per stay. In my honest opinion, i did find this package to be misleading because half board would mean 2 meals of the day are taken care of. At RM100 only per room per stay and this package is only available if you book a minimum of 2 nights and considering the food prices at the hotel restaurant, it is impossible to have 2 meals covered per day. If you are staying from Friday to Sunday like us, you can only dine ala carte at the restaurant out of their buffet timing. On a saturday, ala carte will only be available between 3pm to 6pm at the restaurant. We do not want to dine in room because our room will smell. Dining at their cafe lounge is also not a wise option as most of their tables are low table, may not be comfortable for older ppl to eat. The Grab voucher was supposed to be given to us during our stay so perhaps we can use it during our stay but it was only given to us after enquiring about it during check out. Really hope the hotel can improve on their half board package. Overall, i still think this is a good hotel to stay in KL because of their modern room and nice buffet breakfast.

This hotel is connected to mid valley mega mall. Is very convenient for people who likes to shop and a place to rest after shopping and dining. There is no water bottle in the room as they are going green and gives you a pitcher to collect water from the dispenser at the lift lobby. I like this idea but feels it could be better if the dispenser has hot water as well . Service is good and check in and out hassle free. The only not so good point is the room size. Is extremely small and I feel it even asa solo traveller.

The hotel shows its age, but things are still functional. Comfortable bed in fact. Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue—there were crumbs on the chair upon entering. Additionally, the remote control didn’t work, but this was promptly fixed after notifying the front desk. Parking is available, though it’s a bit confusing to navigate if you’re unfamiliar with the layout. It costs 5RM per entry, and validation is self-service through TNG card, which might be inconvenient for some. This wasn’t my first choice of accommodation, but it was offered as an alternative. While the hotel has its shortcomings, it’s adequate for a short stay if you’re not too particular. However, improvements in cleanliness and better guest assistance would make the experience more satisfactory.

Newly renovated and spacious room, a comfortable bed, equipped with mini fridge, hairdryer, ironing board and multichannel TV, 1.2 metre depth pool on the second floor is clean and suitable for beginners, great services from the front desk and concierge, easy accessible to MRT station and eateries. Highly recommended for travellers to PJ area.
