"Extremely satisfied!!! The room was clean and lovely, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise and seeing the city lights from the 19th floor created such a beautiful atmosphere. I'm so incredibly happy with everything. I'll definitely be back again! Absolutely loved it."

"Hotel has an aesthetic look, including inside the rooms. However, the mattress and pillows are not the most ideal; mattress is the normal spring type, which didn't provide much support, and pillows are the microfiber type (I had neck pain after a night of sleeping on one).
Queen rooms are all facing in the direction of the traffic light , which was quite the nightmare for a light sleeper. Room windows provided no soundproofing at all, so I got no sleep till 1-2am on the first night due to constant revving of delivery motorbikes from around the junction at the traffic light (which could be heard a few times in just 1 min).
Service from staff however proved to be tip top as they attended most professionally to my complaint on noise and got me a change of rooms to the quieter side of the building.
Breakfast spread was good, with a completely different main menu on the buffet over the 2 days that I was there, and delicious as well."

"A nice place to stay! Good service from the staff at the front desk who answered our queries with smiling face! When entered the room, never expect such a clean room with only RM70.65 per night! Also got a supermarket and a laundry shop downstair for the convenience of customers. Worth it!"

"Arrived very early and had no issues checking-in early, process was quick and smooth. Location is excellent, within walking distance to many iconic cat statues, the Waterfront and many food spots. The room was clean, felt very new and well kept. Housekeeping staff even left a welcome note. The only downside is the speed of the lift, it can be bit slow as there is only one for guests. Overall, a lovely experience and would definitely stay here again if visiting Kuching."

"Cons - pay 1++ but no tv, no remote aircond, no free drinking(coffee or cup), no handle for door room, floor a little bit dirty, no hanging palce for clothes in the room, hotel is beside club which a bit annoy when night, the lightning in room is yellow not led, no workers at reception when above 10p.m, to enter hotel and lift has to use access card which is quiet annoy sometimes.

"I had a truly pleasant experience staying at the Grand Margherita Hotel in Kuching. The location is excellent—right by the waterfront—making it very convenient for sightseeing, relaxing walks, and exploring nearby attractions and eateries.
The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better.
Breakfast had a good selection, with both local and international options, and the dining area was comfortable and spacious. Facilities like the pool and common areas were also well-kept and enjoyable.
Overall, Grand Margherita Hotel offers great comfort, good service, and an ideal location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching, whether for leisure or business."

But the room was quite small, and there were frequent piping noises during the night (auto toilet flushing and dripping water from the shower noise) maybe due to new hotel with low pressure and air inside water piping. The light from the signage outside also very annoyed, bled through the blinds. Hard to sleep due to both the noise and brightness.
On the upside, the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the popular Chun Hui Cafe, known for its local breakfast. I recommend trying the kolok mee and spring rolls — both were delicious.

SSr@This hotel is super convenient – it's just a few minutes from the airport and directly connected to a mall, making shopping and dining a breeze. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great air conditioning, and the 16th-floor view is absolutely stunning. Breakfast offers a wide variety, and the Sarawak Laksa was incredibly delicious. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, making it fantastic value for money. I highly recommend it! Plus, they even offer free power bank rentals, which shows great attention to detail and made for an excellent overall experience.

I recently stayed at Riverbank Suites Unit 408 in Kuching, Sarawak, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The location is one of the major highlights — right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the Kuching Waterfront, local eateries, and popular attractions like Carpenter Street and the Main Bazaar. This made exploring the city on foot very easy and convenient.
The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a balcony offering scenic views of the Sarawak River. It is ideal for families, couples, or longer stays.
Cleanliness was good, and the basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and air-conditioning were provided. However, the air-conditioning in Room 2 was leaking, so we did not use it throughout our stay. As a result, the room felt slightly warm during sleep.
One of the highlights of the unit is the balcony view, especially in the evening, which creates a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the river and city lights. Facilities such as the swimming pool and parking were also appreciated.
Overall, Riverbank Suites Unit 408 is a well-located and comfortable accommodation with great views. With minor maintenance improvements, it would be an even better place to stay in Kuching.

Why do you have to pay for this? , 200 rm deposit, 37 rm in cash, they said it was clean, the apartment wasn't the same, don't know, other floors, other owners, the same or not
