Tempat penginapan yang menyenangkan.. Pelbagai jenis makanan sarapan pagi, bilik yang luas. Hotel ini bersambung dengan pusat membeli-belah di tingkat bawah. Dikelilingi dengan tempat-tempat menarik dan boleh berjalan kaki. Akan datang lagi lain kali.

Sono capitata al Woodpecker giusto il giorno prima che chiudessero la Malesia in isolamento a causa del Coronavirus...e devo dire che Oliver e Lynn sono stati la mia salvezza!! Non vi aspettate un hostel di lusso, ma di sicuro potrete incontrare quel calore e atmosfera familiare che vi faranno venir voglia di trascorrerci più tempo! Ci sono camere singole con bagno, lo spazio è molto ridotto, ma non mancano di nulla. Occhio se non siete abituati all'aria condizionata, punta dritto sul letto!Meglio scegliere una stanza von ventilatore in questo caso. L'ostello si sviluppa su 3 piani e NON C'È ASCENSORE (io avevo un valigione, ho fatto molta fatica), la terrazza offre una vista spettacolare sul fiume e sul tramonto,indimenticabile! La cucina è fornita di ogni utensile (non dimenticate che è molto piccola e la dividerete in MOLTI...le conseguenze sono ovvie), ma se vi manca qualcosa chiedete pure a Oliver, e magicamente salterà fuori (gli ultimi giorni era comparsa anche un'amaca su in terrazzo!) I 2 gatti sono gli dei dell'ostello, ma bazzicano solo il primo piano (dove ci sono reception, cucina dormitorio e alcune singole): se siete al piano di sopra non li vedrete proprio. Fittano anche tende da campeggio per visitare il Parco Nazionale di Bako (io purtroppo non ne ho avuto la possibilità), e Oliver è sa dare molte informazioni turistiche. Ci sono diversi ospiti fissi della struttura, un aiuto nelle faccende domestiche è sempre apprezzato (per il prezzo irrisorio che si paga una singola, poi, è il minimo che si possa fare!) Lavatrice a disposizione per 5RM, e si stende su in terrazzo. La zona è fornitissima di ristoranti e il supermercato è ad un centinaio di metri.

I opted for Riverside Majestic Astana Wing as my quarantine stay. From the moment I was picked up to the stay itself, the service has been great. I am currently still staying in my Deluxe King room on the 15th floor (the bed is super comfortable!). By all account, select the river view room. Each even the sky turns into a magical hue of oranges, the most beautiful sunset. A stay would not be great if not for the service. I would like to call out Amos Chong who checked me in upon arrival. His customer service is personable and with lots of attention to detail. He has the ability to make you feel like as if you're a returning VIP even if its just your first stay. Kudos also goes out to Ivy from the restaurant. Each morning she greets with such delight and would address me by name. She's definitely a ray of sunshine. I cant wait to meet her once I get out of quarantine. I definitely would be back and would recommend friends to stay here. For the two excellent staff, Amos and Ivy, I hope you get recognize for the 5 star hospitality you show.

Kalau nak stay sini boleh je..tapi tula x kedap bunyi boleh dngar org sebelah kiri kanan depan blakang buat apa..kalau dngar yg pelik² tu lagiii x selesa(fhm²kan je la bunyi tu) hurm..pkerja pun bsing kalau tngah borak gelak kuat²..for me walaupun murah and tmpat ok sbb dkat dgn wterfront bersih tp tula x kedap bunyi so akan dngar apa² je dr luar kiri kanan depan blakang borak apa..ad yg tngah gaduh..ad yg bawa anak yg agak nakal..tu je la nak kata..

Great location. Access to a lot of places. Kuching Esplanade is just in front of the hotel. You can find nice food on foot. It is just that most shops close very early Friendly staff as they will smile whenever you walk past them. Choose the river view if you want to have a nice view like mine but this means that it will be noisy at times, especially at night. The only bad thing about my room is the toilet flashing system is not strong. Breakfast was ok but very simple. It will be good if they can provide buffet style.
