Hotel berhampiran Kamiryuda Park, Kumamoto

2023年11月に２泊しました。熊本駅から市電で15分（￥180）、空港バスで特快で40分（交通事情で差異あり、￥1,000）でした。いずれも通町筋で下車。新規開業されたばかりで、建物もきれいでホテル下は飲食店街になります。ホテル界隈にも多数の飲食店が軒を連ねています。３Fにレセプションがあって、アメニティはそこで自由にとります（歯ブラシ、ひげそり、ブラシ等）。貸しパジャマ￥200と有料ですが、とてもリーズナブルなホテルと感じました。連泊の場合はタオルのみの交換です。朝食は時間がなく利用せず、１Fの焼き立てパンを利用しました。また横にテラスがあり、写真の通り熊本城が一望できます。部屋はタイプが８種類あるそうで、今回は靴を脱いでフローリングの１Kみたいな部屋でした。デスクワークにも向いており、Wifi環境にも問題ありません。もちろんバストイレはセパレートです。お湯の出具合、バスタブの排水も問題なしです。ベッドは畳の上に布団が敷かれており、寝心地も抜群です。面白いのは玄関入ってすぐに洗面所がある点です。隣に鶴屋（百貨店）があり、お土産各種、食材調達にも不便は感じませんでした。熊本へお出かけの際はお薦めできるホテルです。

The location of this hotel is very convenient. Just take the airport bus to Sakuragicho Terminal. The upper floor of the base is a large department store, which sells clothing, food, housing, international brands, local specialties, etc. It only takes 6-8 minutes to walk through the Shinmachi Street shopping street. To the hotel, you pass by various shops and restaurants. The hotel is newly built and has a simple style. The lobby is fresh and comfortable. The staff are very polite and you can check in by yourself. The customer floor is bright and clean. The room area is about 20 square meters. It is equipped with 2 chairs and a small dining table for easy shopping and eating back in the room. The room is fully equipped with daily supplies. The best thing is that the room has independent air conditioning with cooling/heating provided! We stayed for 5 nights and both of us said we were really satisfied and liked it. Hope to stay again in the future!

The hotel is situated next to a tram station but more importantly, within close proximity to Kumamoto castle and Sakura Machi, so sightseeing and grabbing dinner was no trouble. However, consider not travelling to this hotel with luggage on a tram since I found the experience quite gruelling. Trams in Kumamoto are not exactly designed for tourists carrying hefty luggage. The staff spoke very decent English in the realm of Japanese hotels. The rooms spotlessly clean and sizeable also in terms of Japan. The only downside is that there is no bathhouse but this is much compensated by the spacious bathroom with a roomy bathtub and a rainfall shower. All in all, the only thing you have to ponder upon is whether you would be travelling to this hotel with luggage on the tram. Otherwise, this is a perfect location to stay in Kumamoto! ツアーで宿泊しました。外観はリニュアルした後でとてもきれいです。内装も1階のレストランとロビー廻り、フロントはきれいです。特にレストランはきれいなだけではなく、朝食は地産の料理が並びとても美味しかったです。ところが客室はリニュアル工事中のようで、客用エレベーターが1基工事専用になっていました。客室階は廊下からすべてが昭和の雰囲気のビジネスホテルのそれです。部屋の中は古いホテルの臭いがして、絨毯から壁紙まで昔のままで、喫煙可能だった時代の残り香が感じられます。喫煙室であったことは焼け焦げた椅子の張地からも分かります。バスルームも昔のままで、床下の排水のトラップのせいで、20センチほどの段差があり、登り降りが大変でした。そしてとても狭いです。部屋からの眺望は川側は高速道路がありますが、空間は開けています・反対側は閉鎖された病院や古いビルの非常階段が見えるだけです。泊まるのであれば川側が良いと思います。いぜれにせよリニュアルが済んでからがベストです。眺望は変わりませんが。

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.

구마모토역 바로 앞이라 기차를 타고 다른 도시로의 이동뿐아니라 시내의 이동에도 무척 편리했습니다. 또한, 역 바로 옆에 쇼핑센터, 마트, 식당 등이 있어 생활수품과 음료수를 사거나 식사를 하는데 불편이 없었습니다. 호텔 시설들 또한 깨끗하고 종업원들도 무척 친절했습니다. 호텔의 식당은 넓고 깨끗하고 큰 통유리창이 있어 무척 밝았으며, 떠오르는 아침 해를 바라보며 상쾌한 기분으로 식사를 할 수 있었습니다. 식사 메뉴는 뷔페식이었는데 화려하지는 않았지만, 있을 것은 다 있는 그런대로 괜찮았습니다. 조금 아쉬웠던 부분은 욕실 공간이 너무 좁다는 것입니다.

This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

自然豊かな場所にあり、日常を忘れさせてくれました。娘のインハイ予選観戦での利用でしたので、泊まりのみでしたのが、とても残念です。ホテルのエレベーターがプライベートな仕様で安心できました。フロント対応もとても感じが良かったです。お部屋も十分な広さと清潔感、アメニティもしっかりでくつろげました。ありがとうございました
