Hotel berhampiran Musashizuka Park, Kumamoto

2023年11月に２泊しました。熊本駅から市電で15分（￥180）、空港バスで特快で40分（交通事情で差異あり、￥1,000）でした。いずれも通町筋で下車。新規開業されたばかりで、建物もきれいでホテル下は飲食店街になります。ホテル界隈にも多数の飲食店が軒を連ねています。３Fにレセプションがあって、アメニティはそこで自由にとります（歯ブラシ、ひげそり、ブラシ等）。貸しパジャマ￥200と有料ですが、とてもリーズナブルなホテルと感じました。連泊の場合はタオルのみの交換です。朝食は時間がなく利用せず、１Fの焼き立てパンを利用しました。また横にテラスがあり、写真の通り熊本城が一望できます。部屋はタイプが８種類あるそうで、今回は靴を脱いでフローリングの１Kみたいな部屋でした。デスクワークにも向いており、Wifi環境にも問題ありません。もちろんバストイレはセパレートです。お湯の出具合、バスタブの排水も問題なしです。ベッドは畳の上に布団が敷かれており、寝心地も抜群です。面白いのは玄関入ってすぐに洗面所がある点です。隣に鶴屋（百貨店）があり、お土産各種、食材調達にも不便は感じませんでした。熊本へお出かけの際はお薦めできるホテルです。

The location of this hotel is very convenient. Just take the airport bus to Sakuragicho Terminal. The upper floor of the base is a large department store, which sells clothing, food, housing, international brands, local specialties, etc. It only takes 6-8 minutes to walk through the Shinmachi Street shopping street. To the hotel, you pass by various shops and restaurants. The hotel is newly built and has a simple style. The lobby is fresh and comfortable. The staff are very polite and you can check in by yourself. The customer floor is bright and clean. The room area is about 20 square meters. It is equipped with 2 chairs and a small dining table for easy shopping and eating back in the room. The room is fully equipped with daily supplies. The best thing is that the room has independent air conditioning with cooling/heating provided! We stayed for 5 nights and both of us said we were really satisfied and liked it. Hope to stay again in the future!

Location is unbeatable and it’s great I can park the car in the hotel with very reasonable charge. As a gentle note, hotel car park only accept cash on the ground level. The onsen is really good and open till mid night, which is great. The room is comfortable and clean.

It was a awesome stay at Koko Hotel Premier Kumamoto. We parked our car at the multi story parking building opposite and just walk over with our lugguage. As I have already read some reviews in advance, we have no problem finding the hotel but I must say the sign board is a little not eye catching and can easily miss it. (can see my photo below). Everything is comfortable there and I just have to make space for my luggage opening which is not much of an issue. The location is so convenient and can easily walk over to the shopping area for our dinner with many choices. We enjoyed our stay and there is also drinks vending machine on the level we stayed. Will definitely recommend it for it super convenient location :) btw is near to the Kumamoto castle too!

ツアーで宿泊しました。外観はリニュアルした後でとてもきれいです。内装も1階のレストランとロビー廻り、フロントはきれいです。特にレストランはきれいなだけではなく、朝食は地産の料理が並びとても美味しかったです。ところが客室はリニュアル工事中のようで、客用エレベーターが1基工事専用になっていました。客室階は廊下からすべてが昭和の雰囲気のビジネスホテルのそれです。部屋の中は古いホテルの臭いがして、絨毯から壁紙まで昔のままで、喫煙可能だった時代の残り香が感じられます。喫煙室であったことは焼け焦げた椅子の張地からも分かります。バスルームも昔のままで、床下の排水のトラップのせいで、20センチほどの段差があり、登り降りが大変でした。そしてとても狭いです。部屋からの眺望は川側は高速道路がありますが、空間は開けています・反対側は閉鎖された病院や古いビルの非常階段が見えるだけです。泊まるのであれば川側が良いと思います。いぜれにせよリニュアルが済んでからがベストです。眺望は変わりませんが。

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.

Impressive Facilities: The hotel boasts impressive facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, spa, and business center, providing guests with options for relaxation and convenience. The Bad: 1. Noise Issues: Some guests have reported noise disturbances from neighboring rooms or outside the hotel, which can disrupt sleep and relaxation. 2. Slow Wi-Fi: The hotel's internet connection can be slow and unreliable at times, making it inconvenient for guests who rely on a stable internet connection. 3. Maintenance Problems: A few guests have experienced issues with maintenance, such as malfunctioning air conditioning or plumbing problems, which can affect their overall experience. 4. Limited Parking: The hotel has limited parking spaces, causing inconvenience for guests who arrive with their own vehicles. Finding parking nearby can be a challenge. 5. Pricey Extras: Some guests have found the hotel's additional services, such as room service or laundry, to be quite expensive compared to similar establishments. It's important to note that every hotel has its strengths and weaknesses. When choosing a hotel, it's advisable to consider these factors and prioritize what matters most to you in order to have a satisfying stay.

This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

Love this hotel!! Right next to JR station super convenient. Also beside a mall with a lot of food options. JR station has a market with convenient Stores too. Easy to get to anywhere with local lines. Service staff is super friendly and helpful, room is spacious and comfortable and clean and quiet. Beautiful japandi theme too. Will highly recommend!

ファミリールームに家族3人で泊まりましたが、とても広い窓で、お部屋も綺麗で広く、一歩お部屋に入った途端、全員がこのお部屋が大好きになりました。ベッドもお布団も気持ち良く、『雲のベッド』呼んでいました。お風呂場も洗い場と浴槽に十分なスペースがとってあり、とても気持ち良く利用出来ました。朝食のレストランもお洒落な空間で、お料理もバラエティーに富んで美味しく、パン好きな家族もとても喜び、ご飯好きの私も高菜ご飯を満喫しました。朝食料金も大変良心的で驚きました。家族全員が、『また絶対に泊まりたい』と言っています。
