Coconut Lagoon Kumarakom- a CGH Earth Experience

A serene retreat with the kumarakom Lake area. The resort has very attentive staff and there's quite a bit to do and explore within the resort. The bungalows are really authentic to the traditional Keralite style. They come with an open to sky bathroom that makes the showering experience amazingly refreshing! Definitely would recommend!!

Coconut Lagoon is a paradise at the end of the earth. Great service, environment and activities and ayurvedic spa! Staff was friendly and excellent. My second time here and will be returning. It was monsoon season but we had good weather and it rained only about once.

Everything about our stay and experience in this property has been First Class! We arrived at Kumarakom on the 27th and were ferried to the resort in a Boat, This experience of being ferried in a boat to the resort in itself was a unique one (our first time) like something from James Bond movie. We were Welcomed at the resort in true Kerala style with a flute recital and fresh coconut water, while the Checking in formalities were taking place. We were fortunate to have been upgraded to a mansion, which was an experience of a different kind. The location is excellent. With Vembenad lake on one side and multiple canals surrounding all cottages and gardens.. It is like a heaven on earth . It had a lovely ayurvedic spa. Thoroughly enjoyed the rejuvenating massage therapy. Would specially like to mention few people who took personal care of us like Tijo from front desk and AGM Shynima. Few other names also I would like to mention Chitra, Mervin , Silvin from housekeeping, Anjitha from front desk Vinita, Sajitha and Dr Aishwarya from spa and of course all the restaurant staff who made all possible efforts to make our stay comfortable. The most special thing was classical dance recital every evening by excellent performers . I have become big fan of Parvathi for both mohiniattam and Bharatnatyam .Her expressions, mudras excellent. Last but not least would like to thank GM for managing everything so beautifully from behind the screen. So overall 5 stars for the stay and experience. Would surely visit again and recommend to friends also.

One the best experience I have ever had, The off beat village tour with Prateesh sir was really amazing he explained things so well,definitely want to visit again. Food was at its best as always, Staff was excellent. Thank cgh earth for giving best experience.

The ambience of the stay was excellent, we loved the idea of reaching the hotel through a boat. People here are too helpful and kind. We liked the evening cultural activities like dance and music it was a pleasant full experience. The food here was great authentic Kerala food.

Coconut Lagoon is perfect spot for when you want luxury and best in class hospitality. Having visited them in 2019, with my family, where we had stayed in 3 lake facing villas for 2 nights, I had experienced an amazing time. This time I decided to come here with my wife, immediately after our wedding to experience some peace and calmness in the lush green property of Coconut Lagoon. We once again stayed in the villa that has a private pool. The staff was very warm and courteous. Few names I would surely like to mention are Mr. Thomas and Mr. Akhil at Reception. Chefs Jerry and John who made the most scrumptious meals and Mr. Anurag and Mr. Amal FB service. Special shoutout to Dr. Haris from Ayurveda centre. I was having a bad body ache and Dr. Haris and his team provided with one of the best massages I’ve experienced. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to explore Kumarakom and the famous backwaters of Kerala.

Such a serene environment and warm people . Perfect place to relax and enjoy with family. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every activity provided by the property . Pleasant stay and the place is kids friendly too . Kind people who took care of each and every minute detail too. The space was clean and hygienic too.

One of our favourite hotels in Kerala! The location and grounds are stunning. Arriving by boat adds a charm to the hotel, ***** with the musical welcome. The staff are all wonderful and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The rooms are a little dark but comfortable and the outdoor bathroom open to the sky is a nice touch. Lots of complimentary activities including a cooking demonstration and a sunset cruise. Shout out to Prateesh who took us out on an electric bike tour through the village. Using his contacts, we were invited into a village house and the garden of another who was making toddy. Prateesh came to find us later in the day, to give us a taste of toddy. Exceptional customer service. The yoga class here was definitely a case of third time lucky on my tour and was well delivered for a mixed ability class. The butterfly garden with the knowledgeable Anjana was another highlight. One of the nicest pools on our trip and most of the time we were there, it was empty. A great hotel I would love to return to.

It was a wonderful experience! The food was amazing and the yoga and meditation with Naveen really made our days! It was very fulfilling and we learned a lot during the sessions, so we didn't miss one if them to take the most out of it. Really appreciated it! :) In general the whole resort is very sustainable which we liked a lot and the staff was all super friendly and nice. Also the ayurvedic massages were a treat that one should experience while being there. Especially all the activities for free were a wonderful offer which we used by its fullest and experienced all of it from weaving with palm leaves to a tour of the resort and a sunset cruise.
