Coconut Lagoon Kumarakom- CGH Earth

Coconut Lagoon is perfect spot for when you want luxury and best in class hospitality. Having visited them in 2019, with my family, where we had stayed in 3 lake facing villas for 2 nights, I had experienced an amazing time. This time I decided to come here with my wife, immediately after our wedding to experience some peace and calmness in the lush green property of Coconut Lagoon. We once again stayed in the villa that has a private pool. The staff was very warm and courteous. Few names I would surely like to mention are Mr. Thomas and Mr. Akhil at Reception. Chefs Jerry and John who made the most scrumptious meals and Mr. Anurag and Mr. Amal FB service. Special shoutout to Dr. Haris from Ayurveda centre. I was having a bad body ache and Dr. Haris and his team provided with one of the best massages I’ve experienced. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to explore Kumarakom and the famous backwaters of Kerala.

We had an incredible holiday at this charming resort in India, and we cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff and the local manager made us feel truly welcomed. The whole team from receptionists, the service for breakfast, lunch, teatime and dinner, the cooking trainers, Ayurveda massage team, the cleanig and support team up to the team on the pool, entertainment, all of them are doing everything to ensure a pleasant and unforgetable stay. And the culinary experience is exceptional; the chefs and their team are preparing daily a delightful and rich of variations and array of dishes that satisfied our taste palete very much, and with special attention to my health concerns. Finally, we would like to thank very much for the warmth of the entire team, and we know, that we bring home to Austria brilliant memories of our wonderful time here. R. & R.

Beautiful location set on the Appelley backwaters. Friendly staff and clean rooms but they are quite dated. We stayed in one of the bungalows. I loved the outside bathroom but it was a bit of a tripping hazard for my 75yr old mother to get to especially during the night. Beds were awful. About 3ft off the floor which is not ideal for an elderly/less agile person to get in/out of. Also they were very uncomfortable, like sleeping on a hard board. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the only thing that lets this place down is the beds.

Very beautiful property with breath taking scenery Touched by the high level of hospitality Staff is always smiling, though very busy, they find time of couple of minutes to interact with us. Excellent place to stay for a weekend. The staff were very helpful and polite and the bird watching is must with naturalist pratheesh. The resort is adjoining to the Indias biggest lake and the view is really great. They also offer sunset boat ride.

The ambience of the stay was excellent, we loved the idea of reaching the hotel through a boat. People here are too helpful and kind. We liked the evening cultural activities like dance and music it was a pleasant full experience. The food here was great authentic Kerala food.

first of all a big salute the to lady captian Shynima who really was of her the best of hospitality . the one thing u will not hear from coconut lagoon is No , bcz they will have a yes for their guest .... my special thanks to front office Akhil sreelakshmi who made a warm welcome to our group then to Emil and Dhanya from.Hk who made us our room so comfortable and to Amal and Akshay at service who made our dining experience beyond expectation. a special thanks to checking who makes Tea coffee at evng and the boat. supervisor who made to know about the lake and thr flute chottan who was such an awesome......which really made our Stay the best since ur in lagoon covered with water all the way the boat drivers hats off to them... their way of willing to take us even though in the night in boat , really awesome.. last but the least Hair , GM , at the resorts caption of the ship he was aswome at his service of ensuring the stay of the guest in comfortable way Once again thanking you the team CCG FOR THE wonderful hospitality from my end on our P & G team. we will definitely recommend u to be picking this place to feel home far away from home... I stayed at 2 rooms, first the pool villa and the second was heritage room. Well, to be honest, I was so at peace at this property that I didn't wanna leave. God damn the office. The pool villa was super spacious,, comfortable beds, comfortable sleep, beautiful pool aaah, what else do I say, I get lost in memories. just love this property, and all properties by CGH to be honest.. i just wanna stay here forever..
