"My partner and I had a lovely 1N stay in the Hill Lodge. The experience of waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount K made the entire trip worthwhile! The buffet breakfast was also excellent and a great start to the morning. We had requested a small birthday effort. While nothing was prepared, we don't blame the staff at all for any potential oversight (we're definitely happy to pay for additional charges, too!). Our only minor suggestion for future guests is that it would be great to be informed at c/in if a special request cannot be accommodated. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we highly recommend it for the incredible mountain scenery!"

"I only take the basic room but the facilities are enough, and the hotel is a bit far from town. In the morning, you can see Mount Kinabalu, which makes the atmosphere calm and beautiful. Even though the room is basic, the surroundings and natural scenery make the stay truly worthwhile. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to escape the busy city and enjoy fresh air and peaceful moments."

"The view is magnificent. You can see the mountain very clear at early morning. The road condition to this place is quite challenging for 2wd vehicle. Extra cafeful during drive is a must cause some of the road is steep and visibility during night is limited especially when its raining. Overall im satisfied with my stay."

"Hotel views of mountain is good, rooms were cleaned. Only problem was we were all 60s so rooms given to us was way below the slope where we have to climb the stairs was quite steep. Tv reception was bad. Good for young couples."

"The hotel is quite new and clean. The road to the hotel is a little bit bumpy but overall I enjoy the stay. Got the treeview room but the view from outside the hotel is nice. The breakfast is blindbox style and only will know on that day"

"H Benjamin is located in a quieter area, up a steep slope and away from the city's hustle and bustle. It's a beautiful area to wake up to the mountains and would be a wonderful spot if it makes a few improvements to the space and amenities. 1) The spring bed is terribly firm, you can also feel the springs through the bed. The clothes rack was also almost going to fall apart. 2) The ventilator was not working so the moisture of the toilet came into the room instead, making it very moist. 3) The water kettle we were provided almost caught fire as smoke was coming out of the plug. Thankfully we caught it in time. When we reported this to the reception and asked if they want to get someone to check, we only got an ”Ok”. Perhaps it's a language barrier but it wasn't reassuring that the next traveller would be safe. 4) It would be nice to provide at least one chair in the room. It'll also be nice to have a seating area outside of the container cabin so people can enjoy the view of the mountains."

"The Villa stay was good. we were a group of 6 including 2 kids. we had a great time there. The location is so good and the view of Mt. Kinabalu is amazing from the property. The place was generally clean. Service was great too. it would be great if they could add more items in the restaurant menu including kids meals. Also, there was one broken toiletry holder in the main bathroom."
