Lan Yee Hotel,Kunming Changshui International Airport

I arrived in Kunming after midnight following a long day of travel, so I was very happy to be greeted by two friendly and welcoming staff members. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and they immediately helped arrange my airport transfer for the next morning, which I really appreciated. The staff were also very accommodating when I requested a room change because the first room had a strong smoke smell. They promptly arranged another room, which was much better and met my expectations. After a long journey, the soft and comfortable bed gave me a great night's rest, even though I only had a few hours before my early flight. What impressed me most was their attention to detail. The front desk even made sure I was awake in time for my airport transfer. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of dishes. I especially enjoyed the different stir-fried vegetables and local dishes, something I will definitely miss from China. The airport transfer was punctual and hassle-free. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and truly appreciated the excellent service from the staff.

We chose this hotel because it appeared to be very close to the airport. In reality, it is about a 15-minute drive away, but this was not an issue at all since the hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle service. The driver met us at the airport lobby, greeted us warmly, and guided us to the shuttle vehicle. The car was new, spacious, and comfortable, and the drivers were very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently surrounded by eateries and convenience stores, making it easy to find food, drinks, and any essentials we needed. Check-in was smooth and efficient. One lovely touch was the complimentary flowers available for guests to pick. They were absolutely beautiful and made us feel very welcome. Our room was exceptionally spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of five. We were also pleasantly surprised that the hotel offered breakfast options suitable for Muslim guests. This made our mornings much easier, as we did not have to search for halal food before starting our day. The staff were outstanding. When we asked the receptionist for transportation advice to Kunming South Railway Station, she went above and beyond by helping us arrange a vehicle large enough for our group of two families, consisting of 4 adults and 7 children. The only downside was the bathroom drainage. Water drained very slowly, causing water to accumulate quickly and almost flood the bathroom and toilet area. The sink outside the toilet appeared to have a similar drainage issue. Aside from this maintenance concern, our experience was excellent. The spacious rooms, helpful staff, convenient location, airport shuttle service, and Muslim-friendly breakfast made this a wonderful stay. We would happily recommend this hotel to other travelers.

If you are looking for a stress-free transition between flights, this hotel hits the mark. Located just a short, well-marked walk from the main terminal, it eliminates the need for expensive taxis or unpredictable shuttles.

The hotel is at a great location near to the airport and supported with a commercial Center. The breakfast is adequate meeting its relevance. The room is large and clean and well appointed. Really value for money.

This hotel is surprisingly great, the staff is very polite and helpful. They have a very good spread of breakfast. The room is big, clean and very comfortable. 10 min away from the airport. Had a very comfortable stay here.

Super value for money, we had a huge suite. Clean and very convenient to go airport. Have free shuttle bus to airport. Our flight was too early so we couldnt eat the hotel bfast but they very kindly pack eggs, bread and milk for us without us even asking.

Friendly staff. Upgraded the room for us. But too bad, the upgraded room is suitable for family with kid. I’m family with adult, slipper not enough for us.

Superb! If you are last day spending a night in Kunming, you may stay here. A walking distacce with many restaurant ＜100m. Free breakfast and sendind us to airport with FOC. Late check till 2pm is a plus. The bed is comfort and my kids still lay on bed after breakfast till 2pm. Love it si much

Booked this hotel for quick refreshment before flight. Clean and good space to repack luggage. Do inform the hotel on airport drop off time to send you airport upon check-in. Comfortable time to leave from hotel is 12.30am for 3am international flight. Note that the departure hall will be closed at 12am. Driver will send you to carpark and you need to navigate to departure hall from there.
