The hotel boasts an excellent location. The lobby staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even arranging for our rooms to be on the same floor since we were traveling with family. Both the cleanliness and the overall environment were superb. Our room offered a beautiful view of Cuihu Lake. We also received thoughtful welcome fruits and two handmade nougat biscuits. The breakfast selection was extensive, catering to a wide range of preferences. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

Despite its age, the hotel felt anything but rundown upon check-in. This is a testament to both its excellent maintenance and the high-quality materials used during its original renovation. Its location is also superb, conveniently situated next to Green Lake, Yunnan University, the Yunnan Military Academy, and Kunming Old Street. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious; it was my first time trying Tengchong's Xifen, and it was truly delightful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. I'll definitely choose Junle Hotel for my next trip to Kunming and have already recommended it to my friends.

It made shopping, dining, and sightseeing incredibly convenient, saving us a lot of travel time. * **Spotless Cleanliness**: The room was spotlessly clean, with crisp, soft white bedding. The bathroom was sparkling and bright, completely free of any unpleasant odors. Their disinfection measures were clearly thorough. * **Exceptional Service**: The service was outstanding from start to finish. From the warm welcome by the doorman upon arrival, to the efficient and professional check-in at the front desk, every staff member was smiling and proactive in their greetings. Any issues we had were addressed incredibly quickly, truly making us feel right at home.

A great stay right by Cuihu Lake. I spent two days in Kunming, and the hotel's proximity to Cuihu Lake was a major plus. Its location is excellent; you're at Cuihu Lake just a short walk downstairs and across the street. It's also very close to Qianju Street, the Military Academy (Jiangwutang), and other attractions, making the area perfect for a city walk. This location is particularly unbeatable when traveling with kids, as other hotels I considered (like Nanjang, All Seasons, or Orange) couldn't compare. Being able to step right out to Cuihu Lake is perfect for parents with little ones. There are also shared e-bikes downstairs, making cycling around incredibly convenient. Right next to the hotel is Banpo Xiaoguo Mixian, which is definitely worth trying. Overall, the hotel service was excellent. The complimentary snowflake crisp at check-in was delicious. The breakfast buffet was also good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bread and desserts – they clearly put effort into it, with generous fruit toppings on the pastries. All the staff, including the front desk, were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's biggest drawback, as many other reviews have pointed out, is its age. I asked the front desk, and they mentioned it opened in 1998, though it has been renovated since then. By the standards of its original opening, the facilities must have been quite impressive. However, the decor feels a bit dated, the rooms are not spacious, and smart amenities are lacking. The shower is also located inside the bathtub. Despite these points, the redeeming feature is the lovely view from the window – endless blue skies, white clouds, and the beautiful scenery of Cuihu Lake.

I only booked for one night initially, as I'd come across some negative reviews about the hotel online. However, once I arrived, I realized how wonderful it was and ended up extending my stay to five days. Cuihu Park is right outside the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast was incredibly generous and varied. I actually found the hotel's decor and overall condition to be very good, not at all dated as some online comments had suggested. All in all, I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit. Also, there's a bar right next to the hotel that features a nightly show at 9 PM, which is definitely worth checking out.

I stayed for 4 nights and was very satisfied, so I extended my stay for another three nights. The front desk staff kindly informed me that booking online was cheaper than booking directly and that I could even keep my original room. They also gifted me some fruit and delicious snowflake crisps. The room windows had screens, making it easy to ventilate the room. The bathroom was clean, and the hairdryer was compact and effective. I particularly liked the good quality shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel with their pleasant tea fragrance, which were mild and non-irritating to the skin. There were plenty of wooden hangers in the wardrobe, along with a safe and a mini-fridge. Several full-length mirrors were convenient for trying on clothes. The buffet breakfast was exceptionally plentiful, and the hours from 6 AM to 10 AM were conveniently long. The restaurant itself was spacious, bright, beautifully decorated, and clean. The hotel's surroundings were beautiful, with the stunning Cuihu Lake just outside the entrance. The area was dotted with shops, making it convenient for dining and shopping. Taxis were also easily accessible.

The room was exactly as pictured. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised to find fresh fruits and nougat biscuits waiting for us! Getting such a spacious room right by Cuihu Lake is truly impressive. The room is carpeted, and all the lighting provides a warm ambiance. The surrounding area offers incredibly convenient dining and entertainment options. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful; I had a package delivered even before I checked in, and they kindly received and held it for me. For those driving, parking is also available! The only minor point is that food deliveries need to be collected from downstairs.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff were great. The room was quite spacious and very clean. It's definitely an older hotel, and the decor is a bit dated. The breakfast spread was extensive; I was pleasantly surprised to find Tengchong Xidoufen, which was absolutely delicious and perfectly to my liking. There was a huge selection of Western pastries, especially bread, making it feel more like a Western-style breakfast. The only drawbacks were that showering required standing in the bathtub, the hair dryer was wall-mounted and couldn't be removed, and the bathroom exhaust fan was noisy all night with no way to turn it off.

The hotel is located near the park which is around a five minute walk. The service from this hotel was terrible and confusing.

Grand Park Kunming boasts an excellent location, right by Green Lake and just a stone's throw from the Military Academy. The lotus flowers at Green Lake are truly beautiful, though unfortunately, by the time we visited at the end of August, most had already bloomed out. The little squirrels there are incredibly friendly and enjoy nibbling on nuts and dried fruits. The Military Academy is conveniently located within easy walking distance. The hotel's breakfast buffet offered an extensive variety of dishes, which our children absolutely adored, and the service was impeccable. The Xue Hua Su (snowflake crisp) was also a delicious treat. We were so pleased that we chose the Grand Park for both the start and end of our Yunnan adventure.

No frills stay, located beside a park. Rooms are big and the hotel even help set up decorations for our honeymoon celebration (a pleasant surprise)

Location of the hotel is quite good, walking distance 翠湖公园, hotel staff is super helpful and very responsive . A lot of good food nearby too
