Hotel Mesra keluarga di Kuredu

We had a great time on Kuredu. The journey from Male is by seaplane and you can enjoy a fantastic view of the respective islands before you land on Kuredu after a flight of around 35 minutes. There you will be warmly welcomed by the staff with drums and applause before your own island host introduces you to the island and the rooms. We stayed in Bungalow 364 and the room was simply furnished, but okay. There is only one outside toilet and outside shower, which is okay. The path from the bungalow to the beach is only a few meters away. Our meal was in the Bonthi Restaurant and there was a variety to choose from. it was very plentiful and tasty. The entire staff at Kuredu is very friendly, especially Nizam and the friendly lady at the entrance to the restaurant. Only the pool bar staff could be friendlier. The entire complex is very beautiful and diverse. There were beach loungers at the pool and beach, but they were usually occupied from 10 a.m. onwards. Arriving there early is therefore recommended. Towels are provided free of charge and replaced daily. Your own bath towels are therefore not necessary. No shoes are needed anywhere on the island and you walk barefoot. The weather at the beginning of October was changeable. We had 5 full sunny days, one full rainy day and 5 days where it rained 2-3 times for 20-30 minutes each. Afterwards the weather was very hot and beautiful again. the sea is beautifully colored in turquoise and calm. you can see some fish underwater, as well as sharks and turtles. An underwater camera should not be missing. There are 2-3 shops on the island for souvenirs and clothes as well as snorkeling equipment. However, the prices are very expensive (sunscreen $48, diving goggles with snorkel $69, t-shirts from $49, etc.). You should therefore bring enough everything with you from home. I would also recommend all inclusive, as the prices of the drinks can be very expensive. Overall we had a great time and we can highly recommend Kuredu and the Maldives.
