This hotel up in the mountains is fantastic, with beautiful surroundings and fresh air. It's especially great in winter when it snows, offering a wonderful snowy landscape. Plus, it's very quiet, allowing for complete relaxation.

I had a very satisfying trip. The hotel is spacious, and the hot springs are incredibly comfortable. The staff were all very friendly. **Cleanliness:** Very clean. There's a 7-11 right outside, and they offer shuttle service to Tang Tien, although it's only about a 10-minute walk anyway. Great location!

This is a fantastic hot spring hotel, offering a one-night stay with two meals, making it a great value. Breakfast and dinner are both buffets, and the buffet spread is excellent, especially the seasoned steaks, freshly squeezed orange juice (made on the spot), and pre-made banana milkshakes. In the evening, there's a Japanese folk song and dance performance, as well as adorable Kusatsu souvenirs—very kawaii. It was a truly memorable, enjoyable, and satisfying trip. The room also has its own onsen, which maintains a constant 38°C temperature and automatically refills when the water level drops. The room is stocked with high-end Kose shampoo and hair products, a high-end hair dryer, facial toiletries, lotion, hair products, and several kimono accessories. Booking a room with an indoor bath also offers executive lounge access from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and access to the newly opened VIP onsen in the annex, essentially renting the entire place out. It's very nice.

Very good hotel, beautiful scenery, free hot springs are large, the smell of sulfur is very strong, not far from the scenic area, the buffet in the evening is rich, the children are also happy 🥳

The suite is very large, with traditional Japanese tatami. It is hot even without air conditioning on an 8 degree day.

The hairdryer in the bathroom was re-fabricated, and the service from welcoming me to my room was excellent, just like Sakurai would have expected, but the food was average. I guess I should have tried more of the various options myself, but it was just a regular buffet, which was disappointing. The taiko drumming was fantastic!

It was very good. I had a fulfilling night! The food was also very delicious. Personally, I liked the all-you-can-eat tuna at night, and the honey French toast for breakfast. There was also a large souvenir shop on the first floor, so shopping was easy! The shared bath seemed small considering the size of the hotel, but it was clean and, best of all, we could use the massage machine for free. *The photo is the view from the room.

An old hot spring hotel, with a large room and a nice view outside the window. We booked a Japanese style room (few domestic guests). The hot spring is very comfortable, one night stay and two meals, buffet style, good service, and they greeted everyone they met. There were performances at night, just like a resort hotel. The hotel has a shuttle bus to the station, which is not suitable for our time. It only takes 5 or 6 minutes to walk. It is also very close to Yubatake, about 7 or 8 minutes to walk, and Nishikawahara Park is also on the way. You can walk around. Not bad, not bad.

This may just be a personal issue, but the pillow didn't suit me and I ended up with back pain. I think I would have been more satisfied if I had been able to choose my pillow. Other than that, I was generally satisfied.

After completing the check-in procedures in the lobby, the waiter will bring a translation machine to introduce the hotel facilities, but the waiter who came to serve seemed a little impatient and in a hurry. The room is big, clean, spacious and comfortable, with 1 bathroom and 2 toilets. The large bath has an open-air hot spring, the locker room has a massage chair, and there is a water machine and popsicles outside the locker room, so you can enjoy it after taking a bath. The breakfast and dinner buffets are average, but the Kaiseki cuisine is good. If you want to upgrade to Kaiseki cuisine, you need to email/call the hotel. There are Yumomi and Taiko performances in the evening, and the audience can also participate in Yumomi.

Even with the lights on in the room it was still dark. The bathroom area was so dark that I couldn't even get dressed. Also, on the back of my meal ticket it said that they would lay out the futons for us while we were eating, but they didn't lay out the futons and we had to lay them out ourselves to sleep. It was very disappointing as I had come to relax.
