Location is good for it’s near the lake. The buffet is good though a little bit crowded. The hot spring is fine. The room with lake view is fantastic.

Room was good with great view. Is abit troublesome that you need to sit bus to another hotel for a larger onsen, but the existent one in the hotel was good enough 😊. Breakfast was good as well.

The hotel staff is nice and hotel is clean. We request for assistance to send us to the bus station and they got a mini van to send us over.. Great service. Will book the hotel again.

The hotel staffs greeted us almost immediately after I turn into the parking lot just outside the hotel. Took a while to get used to the musky smell when first entering the room but it’s all good. Room was spacious and opt for the Japanese style. Love the lake view and enjoy the trail walk nearby. Breakfast was good with the beef choice

The Lake view is superb and I love it so much. Room is perfectly new modern design and very clean as well. Just sit and relax at the window without doing anything is really enjoying because the lake Akan view is really perfect.

It was a tourist hotel, so I was able to stay there casually even if I was traveling alone. This hotel was close to various facilities such as tourist boats, bus centers, tourist information centers, convenience stores, and drug stores, so it was a "hotel that is easy to visit". In many cases, transportation is required to get to major tourist spots from the hotel, but the point is that many places in Akanko Onsen can be reached on foot. In addition, if you add the 500 yen option, you can also enter the hot springs of the Tsuruga group. Of course, the shuttle bus there also runs every 30 minutes. This is my personal opinion, but if I have the opportunity to go there next time, I think I will try to upgrade the grade a little more and make a reservation. The room was clean and the view and comfort were good, but considering that it was only two nights, I felt that I could have stayed in a better room if I had paid a little more. I will plan my next trip taking into account other expenses. It was a 2-night, 3-day stay, but it was good to get to know Lake Akan better. I hope to use it again on another occasion. Thank you.

The service is very good, breakfast and dinner buffet, beautiful scenery, and fireworks bonus. Although the bathroom is a bit simple, the price of the lake view room is advantageous. You can just sit in the room and watch the fireworks! Although the itinerary was a little rushed, resulting in a late arrival at the hotel, it was really touching to be greeted at the door by the staff with the check-in list on a snowy day.

Tsuruga should be a local chain brand. Because the itinerary was scheduled in a hurry, there were not many hotels to choose from at that time, so we chose this Japanese-style room. The frozen Akan Lake is outside the window, and the view is very good. The service attitude is very serious and friendly! Because the itinerary was rushed, we didn’t book a seat for the bus behind us. If we didn’t book it, we wouldn’t be able to check out the next day... We asked the little brother at the hotel front desk for help. He used the translation software to communicate with us very seriously, helped us analyze the itinerary, determined the route, and called the bus company to help us book seats. For a whole afternoon, several hours, he didn’t have any impatience. When we left the next day, he went to the gate to wave and watch us get on the bus! The service attitude of this hotel really warmed my heart, thank them very much! In addition, the pot of seafood soup for breakfast in their hotel is so delicious! I will try it next time I go!

The view from the hotel is really great and the environment is quiet You can see Lake Akan when you get up. Unfortunately, it was quite foggy that morning. The location of the hotel is very good. In addition to being on the old hot spring street, it faces the lake on the other side, which is where the boat ride is. The breakfast is great. You can enjoy the scenery on the lake while eating. The hot spring pool is also very clean and comfortable.

The large public bath is clean and relaxing, but unfortunately there is no window or open-air bath. You may be more satisfied if you go to Tsuruga to take a bath after arriving and before eating.
