I want to express my sincere gratitude for the hotel ´s exceptional hospitality and service, the whole staff made our stay so wonderful ! We felt special and so precious ! We are very grateful for your full commitment, being at The ONE felt like home with family ♥️ Room in Papaya junior suite clean , tidy and outstanding view , loved the firm mattress ☺️, tasty and savoury buffet , super entertaining shows and activities , pristine and crystal clear water at the beach, luxurious pool , top notch quality !!!! I can’t thank you enough Killian , our guardian angel at the reception desk , but also Ewelina the friendly owner , Abdallah and Philip the efficient and cheerful front office managers , Emmanuel , Rahma, Mona , Nathalie , and all my dearest ones as well : Joan, Hosiana, Amina , Lulu , Juma, Mandela , Obama ,Souleimane. Pretty Olga ,Elizabeth , Glory at the SPA . Tito , Dullah , Othman at the pool , the caring and helpful team at the restaurant and bar : Baraka, Amour , Cassian , Coster , Revelian… I ´d name everyone, each of you …all of them have been awesome and made sure all of our wishes were fulfilled to the best possible levels ! Staying at Hakuna Majiwe felt like finding a hidden slice of paradise, a real good value for money. It was made even more special by the incredible team that runs the place. I came here with my parents and my sister this summer, end of July approx. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine care that it felt like coming home. The staff here aren’t just doing their jobs—they’re truly passionate about making your stay unforgettable. Every interaction, from the friendly greetings in the morning to the thoughtful touches throughout the day, showed how much they genuinely care about their guests' experience. They cared a lot, helping with the suitcases, bringing the food to the room (room service), showing a service and type of staff seen nowhere but as in Hakuna Majiwe. What really stood out to me, though, was the food. Breakfast had a variety in worldwide and local food, which is thanked to try the flavors from Zanzibar. Every meal was a treat, bursting with fresh, local flavors, they tasted amazing, hats off to the chef, who even asked us if everything was good! The chefs clearly put their heart into every meal, and it shows. If we had to mention a downside, we would say that, as we kind of came in a time in which there were no guests, we missed a bit more of activity, animation at the hotel… Though, some new guests came the last 2 days we had there. Hakuna Majiwe isn’t just a hotel; it’s a place where you feel truly looked after, where every detail is taken care of so you can fully relax and enjoy your surroundings. The amazing staff, food and decoration made my stay here something I’ll always remember fondly! Thanks!!

The Nest in Zanzibar is a haven for the ”cool and beautiful,” with an effortlessly stylish, Instagram-worthy aesthetic. The charismatic owner has crafted a dream for his family in paradise—a heartwarming story that adds depth to the experience. The ambiance is laid-back and relaxed, drawing easygoing, successful visitors who value authenticity over modern ultra-luxury. Its charm lies in its elegant simplicity and cool vibe. Remember, this is Zanzibar, where life moves ”pole, pole”—slowly. If you can’t embrace this unhurried pace, it may not be the place for you. But for those who can, The Nest is pure magic.

The villa is very beautiful and peaceful. Stayed there for 12 nights with my boyfriend and we enjoyed the villa so much. All the staff are super friendly and ready to always assist to your satisfaction. The food is very tasty and always freshly made. They are not a five star villa for nothing, They deserve more stars ❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is a very safe environment as well.
