Love the breakfast; and the size of room and attached bathroom. Room cleaninless can be further improved upon (e.g. fallen insects on window sills, dusty fan etc.). Amenities would have been better if there is greater public indoor area (e.g. restaurant/pub area) that is more open/flexible for guests to retreat to over extended hours (e.g. for usage of public wifi to connect to internet). Overall, it's a convenient site for a good night's rest!

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Lovely stay. Breakfast was excellent lots of choice. We had an evening meal too which was good gastro pub.

Was surprised it was a motel-style setting with windows overlooking the car-park. Quite a bit less picturesque compared to all other places we stayed on St Cuthbert’s Way. Food at dinner was good but a bit pricey compared to other inns and there was no table-service.

Really disappointing stay. The room was unbearably hot from the moment we arrived, and despite using the fan provided and having the window open, so much so somebody could probably climb through, it made little to no difference. To make matters worse, the radiator in the bathroom appeared to be on full blast the entire time, with no obvious switch or way to turn it off. The heat made it incredibly uncomfortable and resulted in a very poor night’s sleep. We raised the issue with staff during our stay, but unfortunately nothing was done to resolve it beyond an apology and them saying “we did provide you with a fan”. Given the impact this had on our stay, it was disappointing that no compensation or meaningful attempt to improve the situation was offered. Just a mere “sorry”. On a positive note, the room was presented well, clean and had good amenities. Pub was also nice, ample parking too. However overall, the customer experience was poor and not what we expected. I stayed for my birthday and had to retreat home early the next day due to the lack of sleep so plans were unfortunately ruined.

Excellent hotel. Beautiful clean room. Very comfortable bed. Staff so welcoming and helpful. Food delicious and good value for money. Free on site parking. Will definitely be going again.

Right next to the A1, but you wouldn't know it. Welcoming, lovely staff, good food. Lots of walkers and cyclists, good atmosphere, comfortable room, sensibly priced and conveniently located in this special part of the world. Go to Lindisfarne, go to Scotland, explore Berwick and Northumberland - this is the place to do it from!

Nice easy location for Lindisfarne. Good menu, but seems to be the same one at each of this group of hotels. Decent sized room, with tea and biscuits supplied. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking, but some people may prefer them this way.

Staff are really friendly and helpful. Room 2 is very near the loading area for drink delivery and we were awoken at 7.15am with the noise of barrels being rolled and offloaded. Not great. Room also very warm as the towel rad was left on full blast, seems a waste of energy and money? Food very good and service very efficient.
