The hotel is beautiful and new. Staff are really nice and helpful! Close to subway station but need around 10 minutes walk to main shopping areas.

The hotel is better than we expected. Love the entrance design, a simple entrance, once you entered, there is the designer interior that gives you cozy and cool Japanese design. The room is very big in Japan. Location is perfect, many small shops and restaurants nearby.

Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto was a fantastic base for our trip—stylish, calm, and extremely well run. We’d happily stay again—especially for that cheese breakfast.

★★★★★ Excellent Stay in the Heart of Kyoto We had a fantastic stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo PREMIER. The hotel feels very new, modern and beautifully designed while still maintaining a calm Kyoto atmosphere. The location was excellent — convenient access to shopping, restaurants, cafes and many sightseeing areas, yet still peaceful and comfortable at night. It made exploring Kyoto extremely easy. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable for our family. The hotel facilities were also impressive, especially the public bath and lounge areas which were relaxing after a full day of walking around Kyoto. What stood out most was the professionalism and hospitality of the staff. Everyone was polite, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel offered a perfect balance of luxury, comfort and convenience. We truly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip. Plenty of nearby parking too for those who drove

Wonderful! Better than we had expected. Location on Sanjo has lots of places to eat and shop, and opens til 7 or 9pm - very safe. Staff were all very attentive. Design was great, room was well appointed (aside from less shelf/drawer space for 3), and the public bath was easy to access. A great stay, and would stay again in future.

I have stayed this hotel many times. All are very good, except the amenities. Also, the room is not cool and feel hot even though we switch on air conditioners with 20 degrees

I really love this hotel — it’s clean, the staff are lovely, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is very convenient. Overall, everything was excellent. I’ll definitely come back again next time.

Location: in the middle of everything including shopping area all at walking distance Room size: is big Breakfast was the best part, order+buffet, they make fresh cheese which was delicious Need to make reservations for hot bath for extra charge which was worth all the money! I highly recommend
