Nice, comfy hotel room with such a cheap price in Kyoto.However, that's a little bit far from JR/subway stations, rely on bus for transportation if you based on here.

The front-desk cannot store luggages, has microware in my room. Convenience for bus station, not for subways and railways

Clean and confort Budget hotel in kyoto. Near from station

The staff were polite. The laundry room was not clean. There was a sign with food dripping down. It was like that for over a day. The dryers do not get cleaned often, filters were full. Our room was nice and spacious but our bathroom was tiny. The curtains had horrible stains on them. The AC needs cleaning, air was stuffy. The hotel room really needs to be refurbished. I’ve stayed in other hotels with similar pricing and their level of cleanliness and comfort was much higher.

Uf, I stayed here cause no other affordable place was available. Bad price quality ratio. Very smelly carpet and bathroom, lack of ventilation, wc dropping water and fridge very noisy, very bad lighting. Table packed with stuff we are not going to use as microwave, tv, heater...but no room for personal use. The twin bed room size is big, but still smelly. It seems they haven't updated the hotel for 50 years.

Budget friendly place with clean, surprisingly spacious room and proper amenities, despite booking last minute. Location not central but close to a bus.

Hotel is a budget hotel and it is as expected. Everything is ok on it’s price.

It was good stay

Very ordinary hotel with small but cheap rooms. Downstairs there are coin operated vending machines. Decently priced as well. There's public transport stations within walking distance as well as a famous temple

Room is clean and comfy even if the building is evidently a little old. Train station, Teramachi Dori and Higarikawaracho are all within a 30 mins walking radius. However, the issue was with the service. Check out time is 10am however I enquired the night before I was due to leave if I could check out later. I was told I could check out midday and the receptionist appear to log the information somewhere. The next morning at 10am, hotel staff turned up at my room telling me to check out. I explained that I arranged late check out to which I was told I had to pay an extra 1000jpy. I explained that there had been no mention of this but was simply asked to pay my fee when I checked out. There was no acknowledgement of a mistake let alone an apology. Furthermore, there are no notices about a late check out fee at reception (unlike other hotels I had stayed at in Japan) nor is there anything on the Ctrip listing.
