It was very quiet and comfortable. The bath was lovely, and it made for a wonderful memory!

Wonderful experience ~ we like living inside a museum. Traditional architecture combine with new elements. We booked two types of room but every room had a washing machine with dry cloth function. Nice staff provide us 5-star service~ better than some 5-star hotel. Great location which provides us shopping, food and sightseeing within walking distance. The most important thing is keep us out of busy and noisy areas. We found so many local people come to this area on weekends. We feel safe and really enjoy stay close with local people. Close to metro station, just 5-10mins walk from hotel.

Booked the Round bathtub room. Room was well designed & had a great time soaking in the Hiba wood bathtub. Enjoyed the pretty water light reflection on the ceiling while soaking the stress away. Really loved the woody scent of their shampoo/body wash that I bought a bottle home with me! Really enjoyed the traditional atmosphere & machiya front desk of the hotel as well. The 5-7mins walk (almost 2-3 street intersections) to the nearest metro station (Karasuma Oike) was worth it to make it to this beautiful hotel. Will be coming back to stay again!

Excellent place to stay in Kyoto. Convenient to train stations, restaurants and shopping. Will definitely consider staying here again next time.

The door curtain is not big and low-key, but it is really full of space and beautifully designed. Hygiene: Super clean and comfortable, the room is also very moist and not dry. Very big. Facilities: There is a wooden bathtub, dry and wet separation, the washbasin is also very large, and there is privacy. The bed is also very large and the twin beds can be put together. I slept very well~ The only thing is that the window cannot be opened and the frosted paper is pasted so that you can't see outside, but the light transmission does not affect the transparency of the room. The TV cannot be projected There is also a small kitchen area, and even an induction cooker and a small milk pot are prepared, which is excellent! Service: Very kind and respectful to the hospitality, helping us arrange the luggage and clothes in the room first, and the clothes are hung up (◍•ᴗ•◍) They will also provide nearby food and river shops🥳 I didn't enjoy their breakfast this time, but it would not be bad. The area is well connected, and there are things to do in every street and alley. The subway station is a 6-minute walk away, which is acceptable for dragging a suitcase.

This was my first stay at Nol. It's conveniently located near Sanjo, and the facility is a renovated old townhouse, creating a lovely building with a Kyoto-style vintage feel, blended with modern interior design. The room wasn't particularly spacious, but it was very clean, and the cypress bath had a pleasant woody scent. The washer/dryer was neatly tucked away in the wall. I was able to quickly do my laundry before dinner, and it was dry by the time I got home. It was a great hotel, and I'd definitely like to stay there again.

The hotel is clean and large! The location is very good, about 10 minutes walk from Nishiki Market and Teramachi Kyogoku Street, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. It is very convenient to cross Teramachi Kyogoku Street to Takashimaya and Daimaru Department Store. There are convenience stores and various restaurants near the hotel. The hotel room has a microwave and washing machine, which is really convenient. The cypress bathtub is quite unique. It is very healing to take a bath after a day of walking! The hotel lobby has free sake tasting every day, which is very unique!
