Fantastic stay in peaceful area! love the interior and the convenience to anywhere.

Room is not as big as what I thought, but still ok. My kids like this hotel since can see the train tracks from the window, and it’s nearby the Railway museum. Public bath is small. Price is reasonable and the hotel lobby is connected to family mart, very convenient.

Excellent hotel close to Umekoji Kitanishi Station (which is the next station to Kyoto on E line). The rooms are rather spacious for Japanese hotels. The breakfast is delicious: there is not so many options as you may find at other 4 stars hotels, but there is plenty to eat for European, although the menu didn't change during our stay. The breakfast is from 6.30 till 10 a.m. Onsen is rather spacious too with Mikimoto shampoo and body soap.Onsen pyjama is warm and cosy, it is changed every day. Also there is a door to 7/11 store which works 24h a day. In my opinion this hotel is good for families with children. Everything is sooo clean: the staff is workaholic, it takes 20 minutes each day to clean the room. We felt ourselves at home. Note: there is a microwave on each floor. Thank you! We will come back for sure. The only inconvenience is the location, but it depends. It is just 70 meters from train station, but if you need to go to another town in the morning you'll need to wait for a local train to Kyoto station 10-15 minutes. Although it is only 3 minutes by train.

Great location, 1 stop away from Kyoto central station. Easy to walk (20mins), train or cab into town. Our Superior Twin Room was generously sized with excellent amenities. Our room came with a very nice shower and a deep bath. The hotel Public hot bath was lovely too. Family mart conveniently located downstairs. The downstairs restaurant puts on an AMAZING buffet breakfast. Well worth the JPY$22,000 (AU$22). Be aware: - Coin operated laundry is VERY slow. There is often a queue to wait for a machine. Inconsiderate guests leave their laundry finished in the machine, keeping it occupied. Machine drying takes hours. Go to a laundromat in town if you prefer. The front desk can change notes/coins if needed. - We were directed to check via an electronic kiosk next to the fully staffed front counter, without any other customers in sight. This took a while checking into 2 rooms. Annoying after a long travel, but not a deal-breaker. - Breakfast vouchers can be purchased during checkin, but they are for a single meal only, not for the duration of your stay. You need to buy one voucher per meal that you eat in the restaurant.

Hotel is one local train stop away from Kyoto station. Walking distance is half an hour. Facilities are ok. There are windows which are internal facing in the rooms. Maybe not this place next time.

Clean rooms, near to metro, there’s a park nearby and public onsen for hotel guests. Family mart at hotel lobby, fast check in

I have stayed in this hotel for 3 times already. The location is great. It is next to the JR station and metro station. There are different types of food around this hotel. I will definitely stay here again if I have family trip to Tokyo or Yokohama

Very new and clean hotel. Very nice customer service. Family room of decent size allowing it to put our small luggage and backpack without problems. Good size bathroom with shower and bathtub in the wet room. Separated WC. Good quality amenities and free water. Location is convenient because it is just in front of the JR station, but as the Kyoto train and metro network had not very often trains, sometimes the waiting can be experienced as long, specially when extreme temperatures.

Fabulous hotel at a reasonable price. Close to JR station.

Washing machines are bad, not enough for customers, and most of the customers are selfish, others cannot use the washing machines
