Ulasan Hotel Gimmond Kyoto

The space at the foot of the bed was just enough to open a 21-inch suitcase. Although the room's appliances were old, they were perfectly functional. The hygiene was clean and tidy. I don't speak Japanese, but simple English was enough for check-in. Most of the maple leaves at the scenic spots had already fallen, but the maple leaves at the hotel entrance were still there, adding a touch of color to my somewhat gloomy mood.

It was good and had old fashioned furnitures. Near to everwhere. Not bad. Wifi was very slow. Room was very tiny. Budget friendly hotel.

I actually liked this place due to its location and a better than expected bed. The room while small was not bad. I felt like it was a cozy place for me. Good bed. I really had no complains.

Enjoyed staying in Gymmond , it has it’s own old school vibe. Super clean, neat, cozy room. Helpful staff on the reception and a perfect location-3 minutes till and subway station and 10-15 minutes walk till the down town and the shopping/restaurant streets. Super recommend!!!

Great location and wonderful staff. Rooms really good. Older but clean. Only thing they didn’t have were washing machines

The Gimmond Kyoto is a pleasant hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice amenities, and in a convenient location.

Good location, clean and the most important for this hotel is the staffs are very helpful, friendly, kind and have more than 100% of service mind.

The hotel has a very nice location with an underground station, convenience stores and a supermarket nearby. The distance to some attractions, such as the Nishiki market, for me is reasonable and walkable. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful. When I reported the problems with the room, Mr Nishizaki (西崎) was very kind and friendly to help me change to another room. The room and facility are comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

One of the best hotels we stayed: great location, friendly staff (I forgot the key in the room and they promptly helped me getting it back) and nice room. Unfortunately there is no laundry room.

The service was excellent, though hotels in Japan are, as always, quite compact.

Even though some parts feel a bit vintage, it's very quiet and clean. I'd definitely stay here again next time.

Nice, quiet hotel. It's ok for a solo traveler. Very good location. Close to exit 3-2. Walk app.2-3 min from subway. It was only one inconvenience for me- every time you go out, you should provide your real key(!!?) to reception. .
