This guesthouse is located near Kiyomizudera. You can literally walk there. It takes only 10 minutes walk to the train station which is very convenient. There's no elevator. You may have a hard time if you have big luggage with you (first hand experience). The bed is very comfortable. Before I even checked in, someone spilled sauces over one of the refrigerators and it stayed like that all of my stays, but other than that, this guesthouse is very clean. Also, the staff is kind and caring. When they know I'm Thai, they spoke my language! I was impressed. Overall, this is a great place to stay with affordable price.

Good location as it’s right next to the ancient town area, however is right next to the main road so quite loud and not close to the train station. Not very clean…..

The place is well located. The design of the capsules it's pretty good! But a little short for the lower bunk. The location is convenient. Nevertheless, it needs a little more cleanliness in the common areas.

Hostel has bed bugs . Also the pillow provided is ridiculously small and you may as well be sleeping on hard wood

Very affordable and foreigner-friendly guesthouse. Located near the Gion center, very convenient to stroll around the old city. Not many restaurants around

It was just a normal Guesthouse... The stairs were a bit hard to handle with a large bag but not impossible to get up. The toilets on the floor of the room reused the water from washing your hands for the next flush however therewas no soap... The showers are on the second floor and are not separated by gender... The common areas were spacious enough and had a nice window front.
