My stay was fantastic! The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly sufficient for a solo traveler. It's clean and minimalist. For visitors, the hotel's bath was incredibly therapeutic. The surrounding area is also convenient and peaceful. Overall, highly recommended!

The hotel is new, and the room was absolutely stunning. Generally, rooms in Kyoto tend to be more spacious than in Tokyo, which was a huge plus! The Japanese-style breakfast was delicious. The hotel also features onsen-style baths which weren't crowded – a fantastic perk. The hotel itself is comprised of two distinct sections: an historic building that houses the reception, and a new high-rise for the guest rooms, all seamlessly blended together. Yukatas are provided for guests.

I didn’t expect how great the stay at the hotel was going to be. The front part of the hotel is the old Japanese style building, with the traditional seating areas. The rooms and onsen are located in the back modern building. It’s a perfect mix of the old and new without having any downside. Great location, walking distance to bars, restaurants, markets, malls. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast bento boxes were a great touch. Would highly recommend to everyone.

It's within easy walking distance of Daimaru, and they even offer an onsen. The rooms were very clean, with a lovely Kyoto-style decor. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! The hotel is lovely, with spacious and clean rooms, excellent service, and a spa. Its location is prime: very close to cafes, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a bakery, the metro, and train stations. Plus, it's just a 15-minute walk to the Pontocho area, which boasts plenty of shops and restaurants.

If you want to soak in the atmosphere of Kyoto, stay at this hotel. It has a great location, and there’s a famous bakery right in front of it. Their bread is delicious!
