"A superb hotel located very close to Kyoto Station. The staff is extremely polite and professional, providing excellent service. Luggage storage is available both before check-in and after check-out, which is very convenient. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is outstanding and truly worthy of a 5-star palace. The room was very spacious with a beautiful view over Kyoto city. The room is fully equipped with everything you need: green tea and coffee facilities, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, as well as daily amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, body sponge, body wash, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel."

"Overall, I really liked the hotel! The location is super convenient — close to everywhere we wanted to go. The room was clean and the design was minimal but stylish, which I really loved. They also have a relaxing bath house, which was a nice bonus. One of my favorite things was that the TV in the room could connect directly to my phone — so convenient! However, there was one issue. My friend lost a necklace, and it felt like the staff didn’t communicate well with each other. It seemed like no proper report or message was passed on, because every time we asked, we had to explain everything from the beginning. That was a bit frustrating. I really hope the necklace is found — please contact us as soon as possible if it is! That’s all from me. Overall, still a good stay!"

"This is my favorite hotel thus far across the 5 hotels I've stayed in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. It gives you the ”zen” feeling and services are great. We booked the room without breakfast, but the grab and go (bread, waffles, milk, tea, coffee,etc.) they provided are already sufficient for a quick breakfast before travelling around. I personally also like the smell of the shampoo and conditioner they gave (light tea smell)."

"The location is perfect if you plan to visit a lot of different sites in the city. Easy to find, inside it’s super quiet. The rooms are petite but the bathroom is large and comfortable. The amenities in the room are amazing. They provide even a pyjama. At the check-in you’ll receive a voucher to enjoy free drinks at the lounge. The staff is friendly, very polite, very efficient. We plan to visit Kyoto again and we will definitely book again here."

"Nothing to complain about this hotel. Excellent location, good customer service provided by the front desk staff. Though she can’t speak much English, you can feel her passion and enthusiasm to assist the guests. There is a small grocery store in the front desk area with fresh fruit, bread and even Japanese souvenir is provided. Will definitely return in future. There is a nice burger restaurant nearby."
