Fantastic stay at this ryokan onsen hotel . Easy access by bus 28 from Kyoto bus station. 30 min ride. Onsen room is very clean with comfortable bed, sumptuous breakfast especially dinner! Need to deposit shoes and just wear socks (given in the room) within the hotel. The hotel has 5 private onsen rooms (24-hour) without booking but need to queue especially during peak periods. Really worth it to try it! Arashiyama is a peaceful environment with walking streets and lots of eateries, famous Bamboo Grove & many Buddhist temples within 5-15 min walking distance to visit.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. This hotel is NOT worth the money. My wife and I did a 3 week trip in Japan for our honeymoon and the only bad experience we had in Japan with our bookings was this hotel. We decided to book one night here and were really looking forward to it. Seeing as it was one of the more expensive bookings we had made, we wanted to take advantage of the hotel while there. Unfortunately my wife who suffers from back issues was going through a back crisis at the time we arrived. She couldn't really walk at all so we wanted to go to the hotel restaurant for dinner. However the restaurant was closed and they had not given us any notice before our check-in date. The lounge area was also closed, there was no room service or any sort of food service at all. The staff was not helpful in the slightest and didn't see any issue with the fact that the hotel we spent the most on offered almost nothing when it comes to actual hospitality or service. I ended up having to go find street food (which was pretty delicious) and bring it back to my wife in the room since she couldn't walk. The room was obviously beautiful and the view of the mountain is really nice. But in all honesty you don't get your money's worth AT ALL. Save yourself the money and you can just do breakfast at the restaurant (if it's open) and stay somewhere else for the night. In fact after our experience we were supposed to spend three nights at a luxury hotel in Hakone by the same owner and we went online to do more research because we were so appalled by our stay. We then see that they put a notice on the site that there was going to be construction the entire time we would be there but hadn't sent us an email. We promptly cancelled and booked an airbnb with a beautiful view and private onsen and saved ourselves over $1,000. TLDR: Not worth the amount you pay. Terrible service, hardly any amenities.

My wife’s birthday trip at the Suiran was a dream come true. With successive Covid cancellations, it took us four years of planning, but it was worth the wait. With their traditional Japanese structures and landscaping, the Suiran was our oasis of calm during Kyoto’s busiest season (cherry blossoms). We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and the best breakfasts of our lives in their dining room, and blissful riverside happy hours in their cafe. Our comfortable room had all the amenities, and a soothing minimalist aesthetic. The Suiran staff is spectacular: thoughtful, gracious, attentive. Through our years of planning and days of enjoyment, we were guided by Suiran’s chief concierge, Hiromi Maruyama. Her kindness, patience, and expertise added greatly to the success of our time in Kyoto. Her suggestions and insights, and good spirits were a beacon shining our way. We are indebted to her for her efforts on our behalf.

　ホテルの第一印象は清潔さと落ち着きでした。フロントや客室、廊下などの装飾は控え目で、気配りが感じられる上品な雰囲気があります。2間仕様のデラックスツインがお勧めです。寝室とリビング？がドアで仕切られ、ドアを閉めるとTVなどの音が寝室にあまり聞こえません。疲れた人が先にベッドで横になれます。観光に便利です。広沢池とJR嵯峨嵐山駅まで徒歩15〜20分。ホテルに車を駐めて、清涼寺と化野念仏寺、祇王寺、二尊院を徒歩で観光しました。嵯峨嵐山近辺は車は渋滞で動けません。駐車場も満車です。ホテルにレンタサイクルがあります。スタッフの対応も親切です。

Bilik-bilik adalah sangat besar berbanding dengan banyak bilik Jepun yang lain. Tidak banyak pilihan untuk menjamu selera pada waktu malam kerana ia agak jauh dari pusat bandar Kyoto, tetapi semua alasan untuk berada di sini adalah untuk mendekati apa yang ditawarkan oleh Arashiyama pada siang hari. 建物や内装の見た目はきれいにされていますが、扉や部屋のつくりを見ると古い建物のようでした。我々が宿泊したバス・トイレ付の部屋は１ルームにベッドと小さな机があるだけでした。 阪急嵐山駅からは近いです。ただ周囲に夜間21時以降オープンしているレストランはあまり無かったです。駐車場はホテル横にありますが普通のコインパーキングで割引などはありません。私は20時～朝8時頃まで停めて駐車料金1000円ほどでした。徒歩10分ほどで渡月橋に行けるので観光拠点としては便利かもしれません。 料金は金曜夜だったこともあり1泊16,000円ほどで割高に感じました。

太秦映画村のイベントに行く為利用しました！ 駅近で部屋は新しく清潔感がありました。 ベッドに高さがあるのでキャリーを広げて使いやすいです。 湯船も広め。 外国人の利用者対応なのかな？シャワーやハンガーなどの位置が少し高めなので背の低い女性は背伸びかな？ ロビーにコーヒーやスープなどのフリードリンクや朝食サービス付きです♪ とても良かったです！

Just beside the saga aramshimya station so very convenient to get to..hot communal bath is also good we had the bath to ourselves and relaxing. Rooms are nice and tried the Japan style rooms with tatami and futons. Also beside the saga torroko station for the sagano train..no need to pre book as you can be the first ones to be at the station to buy on that day's tickets as only 2 min walk away.

駐車場は事前にお伝えすれば、徒歩少しのところの月極駐車場に案内してくださるようです。受付の方も対応がすごく良く、丁寧にお話くださり嬉しかったです。もともとはマンションのせいか、階段や廊下は古いものの中はリフォームされていてとても綺麗でおしゃれでした。ペットボトルのお水やコーヒーなど、飲み放題で助かりました。唯一、あっと思ったのは脱衣所の換気フィルターの埃の溜まり具合。とても汚かったです。ここまで掃除はされていないのでしょう。他の部分はとっても綺麗でした！快適に過ごせました。 嵐山まで自転車を借りましたが2時間以内は無料とのことですごく助かりました！あとは予約の、際にチャットで駐車場について問い合わせたのですがずっと未読で、結局自分から電話を、かけました。チャットの意味は、、？と思います。使いこなされていないのかなあと思いつつ、安く予約もできましたし、快適に過ごせて本当によかったです。

周邊有超市、藥妝、便利店，距離嵐山嵯峨站約10分鐘腳程。三人住這複式民宿簡直爽爆，應該有的設備都有，wifi空調都很好，唯獨廚具有點油垢，但問題不大，給好評！

京都観光の拠点として、主人と1泊2食付きプランで利用しました。京都市内のホテル料金が高騰している中で、料金がリーズナブルで、大浴場もあり、レンタカーで来ていましたので、駐車場もあるのが便利で、こちらに決めました。初日に金閣寺を観光し、2日目には、仁和寺まで徒歩で行き(ホテルから約30分位）、龍安寺にも行きました。ホテルの夕食も美味しく、朝食も美味しく、京都観光をリーズナブルに楽しむことができて良かったです！
