Terra-Beka Lodge

I can't recommend this hotel more. We had an amazing holiday vacation with my family of 8 - everyone, including my 80 yo parents and my teen children had a wonderful time. The hotel owners could not be nicer or more attentive. The breakfasts and the dinners were amazing. The owners drove us to the ski mountain and to the restaurant for dinner. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I rarely write reviews on here but feel compelled to write one about our recent stay at this lodge. Our experience here was fabulous from start to finish. The two people who run this lodge are attentive and great hosts. They offer a shuttle service to local ski slopes which was a life saver with a small child. The food is superb ( recommend the filet de bouef) and we loved the rooms, spacious, clean and enough space for a family of three. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi out in the snow with the view of the Alps and all in all a great find for our most recent ski trip. Thankyou to the hosts, you have a great place, keep doing what you're doing.

Outstanding service, attention to detail and gastronomy in this hotel run by a dynamic, talented and caring husband-and-wife team. An absolute gem of a place, where everything is done with heart and elegance. Back from a very long and late day client and supplier meetings, I was greeted with a late night meal of fresh local cheeses, charcuteries, salad and pickles, and a luscious red to wash it down before a limoncello and sorbet dessert. Heavenly and so heart-warming! Extremely comfortable and well appointed rooms, versatile spaces, extensive menu with fresh and inventive ingredients, curated wine list - all perfectly located for every possible amenity. Definitely one to watch and keep returning to.

Had a great week stay here in La Chapelle which is just down the valley from Chatel. Room was nice and spacious and had great bathroom with nice toiletries. Sauna and steam room plus hot tub all great after day on the slopes. Hotel will drop you at Linga lift station to access PDS or if snow is good enough you can access it via the nearby lift. Fee Rouge pub next door great for happy hour 6-7pm and does good burgers. Food in restaraunt nice too plus there are other options nearby. Ev charger cost €10 to use which seemed good value. Would definitely go back.

I stayed there with my two teens - boy & girl! We are Irish & drove down from Germany! We had a fantastic week. The hosts are very welcoming and drove us everywhere to get to the slopes avoiding the need for us to look for parking spots at the lifts every morning! They even picked us up after ski days. A quick call and it was all sorted! The bed quilts are the best, lovely heavy warm quilts. Very comfy! The cleaning / room staff very respectful and your room is always cleaned. The place is spotless. Open Parking is free outside and for a small fee in a covered locked garage nearby. The hosts will even drive you to the locked garage! We found the hotel really homely to come into after a days skiing, with nice little snugs to have a hot chocolate et al. The ski room is simple & practicle to get in and out of. The breakfast is great. Evening Dinner is also possible- the steaks are thick and tasty - all prepared by the hosts! I also had the vegetarian- which was good but a bit small. It could have done with a side of sorts! The burger dish however is delicious. . I would reccomend the local Abondance cheese dishes they have - they too are delicious if you like strong cheese. The only thing I found was a slight gap in their evening menu offering - for teens. I think if they were to offer a mid priced pasta dish or two (around the 16-18Euro mark) they might attract more evening business. We didn’t avail of the spa area. The hosts / owners however make it really worthwhile. They are what make the difference in this accommodation. They come across as a hardworking dedicated team and are always very friendly & obliging. I would definitely be open to staying there again ! 🌸

We stayed for three nights at the hotel and enjoyed the skiresort "Porte Du Soleil". The Terra-Beka Lodge team is really nice delivered a super service. The restaurant, the bar and the rooms are really great and all new. When we arrived late in the evening the Terra-Beka Lodge team welcomed us and took all our bags to the room.
