If you are an experienced traveler you know very well what 3, 4or 5 stars means. This hotel is not a 4 stars as it fails at 2 major points as far as hospitality: - the service is very poor: empty reception, the personnel( even the lady owner) improperly dressed for their function, and the ATTITUDE is unbelievably RUDE. It was my first time in my life when a waiter thrown me the dish and the cutlery. I asked to see the owner and she refused to come to discuss. When i met her at the reception and i asked if we can speak in English she “ executed” me with a definite NO. And then, while passing by the waitresses who got mad at me , they mocked me … Of course, it is my mistake because i have not understood French. But, at no moment i was rude , on the contrary. - the room: the size is not the problem ( we are in France!). The lack if proper 4 stars amenities as missing: no minibar, no complementary water, no coffee machine, no body lotion & hair conditioner. The towels are very used. The no door bathroom has no logic both as functionality or design! The room is quite poor as design , but the bathroom is vey large and it seems that belongs to another hotel room. The pillow are too high and square (60x60) - a no go for hotels. The guests who are able& willing to pay +250 euro/ night have better& nicer personal houses. They appreciate more THE SERVICE. If this does not raise to the expected level…
