Great hostel in the heart of La Fortuna, situated 40 metres from Selina Hostel and 2 minutes from the bus terminal, main plaza and supermarkets. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the entire ambience of the place is calming and cozy. WiFi was great too. Note though that the 9 bed dorm consists of triple bunks.

had an absolute blast with the owner Henry. at one point because i was staying there so long and basically became a veteran after 9 days, he told me i am the boss at night and to keep the hostel safe. what an honor. the smoking area is by far the best place for a conversation in all of La Fortuna. IM VERY UPSET I HAD TO LEAVE EARLY BECAUSE OF SICKNESS FROM THE GYM!!! one thing that if your american, be prepared for cold showers but other then that. the place really made me feel like i had a home and the owner told me i can stay with him literally whenever i want if there’s a bed open.

Convenient as it is close to the bus terminal of the town. The manager Edgar was super resourseful and helpful to arrange any excursion or upcoming trips.

The place is nice in the hallway and lobby, the room is very simple, although the mattress smelled very bad, between feet and humidity, that was very unpleasant. It is an old building, it has its details, to spend a night, have a place to sleep, it is great for the price but I would not return because of the smell of the bed. There was a lot of noise and music in the lobby until after 11 pm, so it was difficult to fall asleep.

The hostel is in a great location and is right in the center of La Fortuna, making it easy to get to all the tourist attractions. The little family who takes care of it makes the place super warm. Edgar, who is bilingual, was always there to give us good advice on the activities we wanted to do and avoid tourist traps. A big thank you to him.
The hotel has 2 super clingy cats that we really enjoyed petting.
The space is well maintained, the kitchen is spacious and there is a nice, very comfortable rest area.
We strongly recommend this place for a stay! 10/10!
