Hotel berhampiran Fundacion Centro Nacional del Vidrio (National Glass Centre), La Granja De San Ildefonso

My first impression of the hotelroom was WOW! Nicely decorated, clean and the hall to the hotellroom was beautiful. The hotell is close to the center with a walkingdistance of bearly 10 minutes. The hotel lies in a quiet area but the walls at the hotellroom are not soundproof since it is an old hotell. There is a restaurant at the hotell, we didnt eat there so I cant say anything about this. However I can say some about the breakfast. It is a big dining room and you have everything you need. It was however the first time the staff yelled at me in the breakfast buffé at a hotell, without me knowing what I did wrong cause the staff asumed that I talked spanish. Apparantly I stepped in to a place where only the staff may be, even though it was an open area and not closed of. There was no signs whatsoever in the breakfast saying that you may not pick the breakfast by yourself or make the coffee by yourself. If this is related to covid, I wonder howcome you can take juice by your own? Why I wonder is because there is a pipe that you have to lift up with your hand to pour your juice and there are no gloves anywhere to use. That was quite an wakeup so that is my reason to why I wont choose this hotel again. The service wasent top quality and lacked basic empathy.

El personal y las instalaciones del hotel están muy muy bien. Todo en general perfecto. Nos ha gustado mucho. Tienen que controlar un poco más los cuartos de baño que estaba sucio el váter. El resto muy muy bien. Las chicas de recepción un 10. El detalle del cafe 24 horas está muy bien. Fácil aparcar y gratuito. Hemos salido muy contentos. Por eso nos extraña comentarios malos anteriores. Gracias por todo

Hotel yang sangat menarik, ia boleh dianggap sebagai lima bintang, dan anda perlu memuji kakitangan hotel👍Sikapnya sangat baik dan bersemangat, bahasa Inggeris yang baik, dan mereka yang tidak mahir dalam bahasa Sepanyol boleh yakin untuk menginap. Bercakap tentang bilik, saya menempah suite asas. Selepas masuk ke dalam bilik, saya merasakan bahawa tidak sesuai untuk memanggil suite. Ia boleh dianggap sebagai bilik deluxe tetapi bukan suite. Terdapat tingkap di tiga sisi bilik untuk melihat bahawa pemandangannya bagus; peti sejuk tidak boleh digunakan kerana wabak, tetapi saya fikir ia boleh difahami; katil adalah katil besar biasa (kebanyakannya adalah gabungan dua katil bujang), yang jarang berlaku di hotel Eropah, dan tidur dengan lebih selesa; Bilik air besar dan cahayanya bagus. Adalah disyorkan untuk menambah bar penahan air di dalam bilik mandi, jika tidak, air akan bocor. Tab mandi adalah jakuzi yang besar. Ia akan menjadi sedikit letih apabila Segovia berjalan di pergunungan untuk berehat. Di samping itu, bilik hotel menyediakan Selipar, mata tambahan! Kami tidak memilih sarapan pagi kerana kami tidak pergi ke restoran awal untuk mendaftar masuk. Terdapat kedai roti yang lazat di sebelah Katedral Segovia, jadi kami memilih untuk bersarapan di luar. Secara umumnya, saya fikir saya akan melawat lagi, tetapi saya berharap pada masa hadapan, klasifikasi jenis bilik akan lebih tepat dan lebih mudah untuk ditempah.

Tenía una reserva de 2 habitaciones (una doble y otra triple) para la noche del 17-18 de agosto. El domingo pasado, por error cancelé la reserva y en cuanto me di cuenta les escribí pues esa reserva ya estaba pagada y no había posibilidad de reembolso (246€). Les pedí, por favor, que reactivasen la reserva ya que había sido un error. El Hotel Cándido contestó que eso era cosa de Booking. Estuve todo el día intentando que Booking entendiese la situación y reactivase mi reserva que había anulado por error sólo unas horas antes y para la que quedaba más de un mes. Booking me dijo que hablaría con el hotel para que hiciese una excepción. Viendo que no me daban más información llamé al hotel directamente, expliqué mi caso, pedí por favor que reactivasen mi reserva, que había sido un error. Después de un buen rato hablando con la recepcionista me dice que su superior no le permite reactivarla si no pago 39€ más. Pido hablar con la superior, Ángela, y me atiende con unos modales poco amistosos y me dice que si quiero reactivar la reserva voy a tener que pagar y que de gracias que no me cobra más porque no se había dado cuenta que una de las habitaciones es triple. Sinceramente, me sentí humillada con el trato recibido y le pedí que por favor entendiese la situación, que había sido un error, que en Booking, en ese momento, la reserva me costaría incluso más barata, 230€, pero se negó en rotundo y se mofó de mí diciendo que si quería la tarifa que tenía sin pagarle el suplemento que hablase con Booking, que no me iban a hacer ni caso. Yo sé que el error fue mío al cancelar la reserva por error, pero me siento estafada y maltratada por el trato recibido por parte del Hotel Cándido y, más concretamente, por Ángela. Sinceramente, nos han fastidiado las vacaciones familiares que teníamos planeadas y me parece que están jugando con los sueños de una familia por ganar algo más de dinero

My family really enjoyed our time at the Real Segovia. Fresh off a plane, we valued a quiet night’s sleep and we were not disappointed. No moto or traffic noise at all. And the views from the rooftop terrace are spectacular! The breakfast buffet was solid but nothing special. Front desk service was always with a smile. We had the Superior room, which had great views of the aqueduct and the mountains. Beware: GPS will try to take you down the pedestrian street in front of the hotel. There are unloading parking spaces just a few feet away around the corner on Calle De La Herreria.

The location itself is nice due to the tranquility, but it is not close to the metro center. A little slow down paced town to easy off the soul. Yet, the transportation system is convenient to bring you back and forth to the City center as you like. It's so close to the airport, and that's the reason I chose this place. You may spend the whole day in down town to play around, and then feel no concern to catch a morning flight. It costs like less than 20 Euro to Uber to the airport.

Stayed 1 night at this hotel but was disappointed thoroughly. It started with the bed... we had selected a king-size bed while booking and what we got was a double bed. Not really the best choice when you are traveling with your husband. On top of that there was another single bed in the room. So, we got a room with 3, yes THREE, beds !!! There was even a small bench inside the room. The property is old and the rooms are also very old. No bath robes our slippers were provided. The bathroom had a bathtub and a bidet. The room service menu had very limited options. The room had a nice view of the aqueduct and that was the best part about it. The location was great with plenty of bars and restaurants around. The check-in was smooth and the staff were helpful.

Very helpful staff I may have mis spell Diez. Night shift on 4.22. We plan to drive to Madrid but unsure if we can due to our rented car had not applied the entry permit. He had been super helpful, searching in website n found where v may park our car outskirt of Madrid n take a train to go. Clear instruction. Real helpful! Room size is big n clean. Great view n v had dinner in the restaurant.
