Hotel berhampiran Parque Natural de Corralejo, La Oliva

My partner and I stayed at this excellent hotel for the first time and will retur. It was a last minute booking and we were glad we chose this hotel. Sebastian was very helpful at the check in as we had a booking problem. He sorted things out quickly and efficiently. The food was excellent, plenty of choice for all tastes. It was all very well presented and there was never a shortage. We always managed to get sun beds and the infinity pool was enjoyable. We visited bars/cafes in the market square and also walked further afield. It’s worth visiting the National Park dunes. Mathilda at reception arranged a taxi for us and it was about 7 euros for four of us. We had meals in the a la carte restaurant twice, excellent choices. The entertainment in the theatre was very good, a great Tamla Motown tribute act one night. There was also entertainment in the evening at the pool area. All staff were very friendly. The rooms were very comfortable. Big fluffy dressing gowns provided. Pool/beach towels available from reception.

We stayed here in August of this year and had an absolutely fabulous time. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Yes the beds and quite hard, but surely that’s personal preference? The food was your standard all inclusive fair, which could get repetitive, but I find that everywhere. The staff were always very friendly, especially the entertainment team. We did have to get up early to put towels on sun loungers, but this is because we wanted pool side beds to watch our girls. We loved it so much that we have just booked to go back May of next year! Count down is ON!

Sceptical from reading others reviews but honestly a really good hotel, pool was small but never had a problem getting a sunbed at different times of the days, life guard on duty at all times, cheap vending machine was a life saver when we arrived really late at night, location is close to a supermarket, beautiful views from the rooftop terrace. The terrace can provide food and drinks Wednesday to Sunday all day , the music was amazing on the terrace and if you’re into parties, make sure you go on Saturday nights because wow. Locals in the area are lovely. The hotel is located 5-10 minute walk from the music square and other places to eat and drink. We had a small room so we made our space work, only downfall was the size of the shower, just enough room to stand let alone lather some soap on your legs wouldn’t say the decor was dated but could maybe do with some tweaking from maintenance (shower handle was a bit delicate & missing a door frame in bed room) but honestly would recommend staying here, it’s clean, staff are friendly. We couldn’t comment on the breakfast as we didn’t have any here. Drinks are reasonably priced at the roof top aswell if anyone is wondering. For the price we paid we couldn’t complain, thank you to all the staff❤️

My girlfriend and I have just booked again for March 2025 after such a fantastic stay earlier on this year. After arriving early evening we checked in and headed straight to the onsite bar which had a great ambience and reasonably priced drinks. Strongly recommend visiting, especially on karaoke night. What a hoot! We then headed up to our one bedroom apartment which was very clean, bright and spacious. We were over the moon. Next morning we headed for the pool and managed to secure two sunbeds in a lovely spot quite close to the pool bar. After sunning ourselves for a while we visited the onsite supermarket for the essentials. Fantastic addition to the apartments as we expected it to be expensive but that certainly wasn’t the case. Thoroughly enjoyable stay and we must mention the restaurant above the reception. Staff very attentive and the food was second to none. We both chose pork in blue cheese sauce and both of us agreed it was the best meal of our week long holiday. Don’t be put off by the lower price tag. We can’t wait to return next year and are counting down the days.

We’ve stayed at Palmeras Gardens a few times. It was / still sometimes is a lovely peaceful resort. The pool is fab, the people who work there are very helpful and friendly. People commenting on lack of kids clubs or general entertainment are missing the point of this place, it’s meant to be quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool but on the days it gets busy, there’s not enough. And that’s often down to the towels down at 9am, get there at 12pm brigade. There are also often large family groups staying and when 13 towels are down with no one using them, it’s a tad frustrating. We rented a bungalow. Ideal for our needs. But the walls are paper thin. You hear every cough, sneeze, door squeak and voice as if they are in the room with you. There were too many broken nights’ sleep and we were tired for a lot of the holiday. And that’s the rub… I don’t want to be constantly woken up by someone getting in at 1 or 2am. I want to relax. So we won’t be back. But that said, it really is a lovely resort and on its quiet days and nights, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

We have just returned from a fabulous ten day stay at this hotel and have enjoyed every moment. Difficult to know where to start and who to thank first. Our greeting by David was excellent and the offer of a drink was such a welcoming touch.Swift check in and then David escorted us to our room and gave us a brief explanation of the hotel on the way and also how our wonderful sea view rooms air con worked . Our fourth floor room 438 was beautiful what a view. Breakfast can be some what chaotic if you go at 8 am it’s fine any later you do have queues, Tom the manager always on hand to help and ensure standards kept up thanks Tom for all your care and hard work making our holiday so special. Michela and Carlotta was also extremely helpful with any minor issues we had they where to minor to mention. I attended Aaron’s fantastic yoga and Pilates classes and was most upset when he had the weekend off and we had no classes all weekend. Food was fantastic, varied , cooked to perfection we enjoyed every meal we had at the hotel and want to say again a big thanks to all the staff who worked so hard to make our evening meals and breakfast so special. Our room was cleaned daily, the hotel is spotless, every morning I watched the staff clean around the pool area , could do with getting rid of the broken sun beds as some are well passed their best days. Spa is well worth a visit we loved the experience again staff helpful and friendly a very relaxing experience. I can’t wait to return to this hotel we had a very restful holiday We will however get a taxi next time as we passed our hotel on two occasions on the coach transfer and was almost the last drop and as you are no more than 10 minutes from the airport worth the cost of a taxi ride. Big thanks to all the staff at this hotel for making our stay so special.
