Hotel berhampiran Popcorn Playa, La Oliva

We stayed with a friend in a private room in a rooftop room. It was very nice, clean, and we had our own terrace! It was mostly quiet. If someone cannot stand noise than dont book this room as 2-3 times a day loud music was coming from the resort nearby (only short time, it was part of thr daily animation for the guests). We were surprised at the beginning but then it became part of our life :) The staff in the hostel is very friendly and easy going, the room was good sized, comfy beds, will be missed!

Came back a few days ago, from the most amazing week away here. As a young couple we honestly wasn’t bored of things to do here. The hotel itself was gorgeous, so well kept and always someone about keeping the place clean and as for our room it was huge. 2 beds a living area, 2 bathrooms and beautiful view of the pool. We booked our day trips through the hotel aswell, which made it so much easier, the desk is only open for an hour a day but there is a qr code which you scan and it takes you to whatsapp to direct the company directly. The only thing is deposit needed to be paid in cash but there is a cash machine in reception. As for the food, we are both picky eaters and we never struggled to find anything to eat. There was a good selection of food every night and we never saw the same foods twice during our week. The all inclusive drink were fab, red, white, rose, beer , fruit juices and sangria all on tap. A nice selection of cocktails and slushes too which we liked too add vodka or rum too. The location we didn’t find a problem, we love a stroll. We found it was a 15/20 minute walk to the centre, where there is a row of shops, bars and even a couple of night clubs. ( definitely take a trip to music square.) we took the scooters a few times, for experience took about 10 minutes on the scooters, they were just quite expensive. During our week we had an unfortunate accident where my partner cut his ear open during one of the activities in the day, resulting us in spending the day in the medical centre and then hospital. A big shoutout to ray, who helped us all day and came with us to and from the medical centre to the hospital, waited and payed with us for the whole day. We honestly couldn’t have done this without him, so a big thankyou to Ray. Overall a fantastic stay at playa park zensation, we will be back! 🤍

We chose this hotel for the stunning location, which was absolutely beautiful, and can’t be faulted, the beach experience was 10/10, where 2 beds and an umbrella for the day cost 9€. The weather was gorgeous and there’s generally a nice breeze on the beach, the sea is also just beautiful, a very clean area. We knew the hotel was dated, hence the cheap price but it really is in complete need of total repair. However the staff all work hard to keep it immaculately cleaned, maid service every day, clean towels, beds changed etc. Beds are firm but fairly comfy, we stayed in the annexe apartments, which are spacious, where the gardens/patios are kept clean, lovely trees and plants, the pools are also well maintained. The restaurant area in the main hotel is pleasant and spacious, food is average, quite repetitive at times, there seemed less on offer in the annexe restaurant. There was also a lack of English teabags in the annexe restaurant, so if you like a cuppa, I’d advise you take your own. It’s a very large, busy hotel and in the evenings it was hard to find seating at times. The entertainment was not for us unfortunately, felt a bit like watching kids in a school performance, there was a man and woman 1 night that sang and played guitar, but generally this was a let down, although there were lots of people that seemed to enjoy it, so it depends what you like. It’s a very popular hotel and if you want an amazing beach setting and don’t mind the worn out rooms, and large numbers of people, it’s worth a visit.

El hostal tiene una muy buena ubicación, a 7 min del aeropuerto, tienes un bus desde el aeropuerto que te deja a 2min andando del hostal,la linea 3. Y ademas tienes las cocheras como a 5 min andando que salen muchos bus,para diferentes lugares de la isla. La playa esta a 6 min andando por el puerto,las vistas maravillosas . Y decir, el hostal muy basico, habitaciones con nevera y ventilador, amplias,estan bastante bien calidad,precio. Pero hay limpieza que eso es importante. Para mi lo mejor los recepcionistas,el señor de la mañana y Samanta, la chica de por las tardes, super atentos y encantadores. Repetire,me he venido com muy buen sabor de boca.
