Gorgeous boutique hotel right on Vieux port making it in the heart of the buzz around the port but noise wasn’t an issue at all. Everything was accessible and within a few minutes walk. Bus from the airport stopped right outside the hotel, train station is a 5 minute walk away. Room is v small and a bit cluttered but view from the room made up for it. Didn’t have a balcony (a few rooms have) but we loved looking out our window at the buzz around the port and watching the entertainment. It was spotlessly clean and was cleaned daily. Bathroom was bright and had great lighting, a rare in some hotels where you can barely see without turning all all lights. Minibar including water, coke and iced tea included which was a nice touch. Also got a plate of macarons and a little welcome card which again was lovely. Safe also included free of charge. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of sockets to charge phones etc. Staff were wonderful and so friendly. Didn’t have breakfast as there are so many places to chose from in the city. La Rochelle was amazing and I will hopefully come back and would have no hesitation in staying in La Tour de Nesle again.

The erea was fantastic, the girls at reception were very helpful and extremely friendly. The room we paid for as an upgrade and received 2 welcome drinks, we expected a small room and that’s what we got but our complaints are no replacement coffee satchets or paper cups, the pump cleanser in the shower was empty but you don’t notice until you are in the shower and then try to unclip the one above the bathroom sink. The girls cleaning the rooms should check these things every time.

We have stayed at Le Masq since pretty much the day it opened . Its as good now as the very first time we arrived . Attentive staff , clean crisp rooms and smiles all round . Pretty sure it did meals other than breakfast when we first visited and over time but maybe wrong . The hotel is a credit to all those involved . Wouldn't and haven't stayed anywhere else in LR why would I ! Here's to our next visit which would be No 9 or 10 or maybe more Well done everyone

Stayed 3 nights in February and asked for quiet room - 3rd floor at rear of hotel very quiet and slept with window open without problem. Breakfast adequate, room clean and modern with towels changed daily. quality and desk only staffed at certain times but can book in at Kyriad next door. Will stay again next week.

Very nice hotel, in a quiet area, 10 minutes walking from Vieux port! Near the Gabut area, the Aquarium and the Musee Maritime! You could find free parking in the surrounding streets! Very good value for money also. They have a very nice initiative with housekeeping. If you stay more than two nights, every day you skip the housekeeping you get a free drink per person, such as a draught beer, local wine, tea or coffee at the hotel bar! Also they have a good water dispenser where you can refill your bottles every day with cold water! Their breakfast was quite good, with nice bread, nice crepes and all the basics of a typical french breakfast! The only thing they lacked was some fresh vegetables such as a tomato, a cucumber or a lettuce and fresh fruits. The quality of the coffee could also be improved. Rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable with two pillows each. The only thing is that the carpet gives the room a dusty smell. Overall very good for its place and price, with friendly staff!

Cet hôtel nous a agréablement surpris . Pour commencer ,son emplacement est idéal ,en bord de mer . Nous avions choisi pr booking une chambre pour 2 personnes avec un grand lit. Sur place ,j’ai demandé au personnel s’il était possible d’avoir une chambre avec 2 lits . On a répondu favorablement à ma demande en me surclassant . Le personnel est vraiment au petit soin. Les chambres sont parfaitement bien équipées,seul bémol s’il faut en trouvé un c,est la moquette dans la chambre pas vraiment propre. Le prix est attractif. 111 euros pour une chambre 2 personnes dans un très bel hôtel bord de mer. Les petits déjeuner sont servis jusqu’à 10 H Étant des couches tard ,nous ne les avons pas testé mais ils sont au prix de 17,50 euros ce qui me semble cher. Je mets en avant le personnel,sympathique,compétent et sérieux Sans aucun doute ,nous y reviendrons

We stayed here a year ago to the week. As we were doing a 1800 mile road trip in France, because of our last visit, we decided to return for a 2 night stay. We must say, our last trip was not a one off. Nothing has changed, excellent service,superb ambiance. Just really classy. Great staff, and as a bonus we were upgraded to a ground floor suite, which opens onto the garden. In one word, superb.

KKara TaiThis hotel is in a fantastic location, in the middle of many shops and restaurants. International brand shopping is within walking distance. The views from the window are outstanding. The bed is comfortable.
The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending places to eat and other sites.
My only complaint is that I found several hairs in the shower upon inspecting the room. This issue should be addressed with housekeeping.

Kyriad is a fairly new hotel chain, until recently represented only in France. The price is higher than F1, where I usually settle, but closer to the center. Since I booked shortly before the trip, there were no cheap options, so we ended up here. Moreover, I have already stayed at Kyriad before. In addition to a good location, it should be noted a comfortable room with a classic design in muted tones, a TV, a spacious bathroom. There really is no refrigerator, if anyone cares. There is a vending machine with drinks and snacks downstairs.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed 2 nights in this hotel with my 21 year old daughter in the first week in July. It's in a great position, down a beautiful street & a short walk to all the bustling restaurants along the port. The lady at check in was really lovely, friendly & informative (& again when we came back one night wanting a hot drink to take up to bed with us she helped us with this). The rooms were clean & the beds comfortable (I'm a bit fussy when it comes to what I sleep on but I had a great night sleep). We stayed midweek and didn't experience any issues with noise outside. The walls are a little thin and on rare occasions could hear next door but this didn't bother us at all & what this place offered overall more than made up for it. The shower cubicle was small so wouldn't suit everyone. I've been to La Rochelle many times and stayed at various hotels each time depending on who I'm traveling with (as a couple or large group). This place ticked all of the boxes and we weren't disappointed. On another note: I usually take a taxi from the airport but the queue was horrendous and after half an hour we decided to jump on the bus (it was Illico 1b) and it took us only a couple of minutes walk to the hotel from the Dames Blanches/St Nicholas bus stop....for under 2 euros each...so I'd do this again just to save taxi time, regardless of cost. Recommend this hotel....and of course beautiful La Rochelle. Ps. there's a lovely, buzzy restaurant opposite too with yummy food...it was packed so we had to take ourselves off to a nearby bar to have a drink & wait...worth it though as restaurant had great atmosphere. Enjoy!

PPengguna TetamuI really like this hotel, the location is perfect for the old town, with shops, bars, cafes etc within a few metres walk. The main transport square is only maybe 50m away, with lots of buses and bikes. It’s such a cool vibe inside the hotel, like 70’s style. Very friendly staff, very good value. The breakfast is ok, like a continental selection, nothing hot (apart from boiled eggs) but it’s fine. I’m on the second floor and here is a slight fan type noise all the time, it’s quieter as you go down each floor, but I’ve slept well. The veranda is a little grubby, as is the central outdoor area, but everything else is immaculate. Don’t expect that perfect modern hotel look, the bathroom for example looks “dated” but that’s the point - it’s really clean and looks so cool and homely, not like all the usual modern hotels that have no character. Good selection of books downstairs. I really like the place, originally booked 3 nights but extended that to just over a week which says something. Only marked 3 for Services as there’s not much else other than rooms, a chill out area and the breakfast room, so don’t expect spas/pools etc

Ggillesr286Nous venons de passer cinq jours/ nuit dans cet hôtel et très sincèrement notre séjour fut des plus agréables : accueil du patron et de son épouse très sympa petit déjeuner convenable et copieux, la chambre spacieuse climatisée était tout à fait à la hauteur d’un deux étoiles. Mention supplémentaire qualitative : situation géographique idéale. Car nous pouvons laisser la voiture en parking protégé et réaliser tranquillement la découverte de la région. Pour finir nous pouvons nous tourner vers les responsables pour obtenir des informations touristiques hors des sentiers battus. Je ne comprends pas les gens qui laissent des avis aussi négatifs! . Il s’agit d’un deux étoiles avec une nuitée inférieure à cent euros À bon entendeur salut. Merci pour cet agréable moment. Un lieu que nous recommanderons autour de nous. .
