I loved this stay a lot more then some of the hotels in my trip, felt nice having your own key to a building. The room really surprised me, it was really nice and also in such a good spot of la spezia. La spezia surprised me, I was nervous as it seemed a bit rough around the edges but honestly such a lovely stay with trendy bars in every alleyway, just got to explore the streets. 10 min walk to the station which is right on the main Cinque Terre line going to the towns, I was a pro by the end of my stay. I felt like this was the place I actually met other Italians as the cinque Terre can be super congested with tourists so I really recommend staying here instead of one of the 5 towns and making base doing day trips to the villages. The reception were really lovely and helped you try and understand the area before letting you go off to your apartment room. I didn't spend much time in the room but I slept really well and all the facilities worked and there was information in the hallway if needed about ferry times and spots to go to. La Spezia was also one of the more affordable parts of Italy I went to with some really good food and drinks.

The hotel’s decor gave me quirky, artsy vibes the moment I walked in. Artwork. Plants. Little knickknacks. Even a fish tank. Our room had a small desk and clothes rack. And a refrigerator over the desk that took me a while to realize it was a refrigerator. Another chair would’ve also been nice, since sitting options were limited to one desk chair or bed. Ac was off and it was unfortunate since it was cloudy and humid the entire time we were there. Also, no window screens, which seems to be the norm in Italy. The hotel only serves breakfast, and they do it so well. Excellent selection of pastries, cold meats and cheeses, yogurt, even fresh baked bread. Its close proximity to the city center is a plus, as well as the fact that the first village in Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore) is only 7 minutes away by train.

Loved the location and it was very convenient and easy to checkin. The place was super clean and had all that we needed for a one night stay.
We were also allowed to dropp off our luggage earlier which was very convenient.
The bathroom was separate from the room but it was super clean.

The hotel offers easy access, and the on-site parking is a major convenience, making our stay hassle-free. The rooms are amazing with the different categories and great options for families as well and everything looked really new! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, from the reception to the room service and housekeeping teams. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of options, particularly for those with specific dietary needs. I highly recommend the Sunset boat tour—it's a fantastic way to explore the region and take in the breathtaking scenery.

We stayed here and was really happy with the location for the most part. It's on top of a hill, so if you are on foot, a taxi is best. Shopping and supermarkets are very close as is the ferry to Cinque Terra, you can walk to both in less than ten minutes. Rooftop bar is excellent, great views. There is also buses and restaurants close as well. The only thing we didn't like, on each floor is a common terrace, smokers use this and the smell does waft into the rooms. Also I was very surprised by a guest vaping at reception talking to staff and no one challenged him to not smoke indoors, even though there are signs everywhere. It is value for money and the staff were very helpful.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was available until 8PM. They had a great location right next to the train and within walking distance of a great nightlife and restaurants. La Spezia is a cute city. It's only a 7 minute train ride to Cinque Terra villages. The shower needs a door, but was spacious and had warm water. I did experience some problems with vaping/ electronic cigarette smoking on site. Unfortunately, some of it seemed to be coming from the cleaning crew. Hotels really need to understand how bad this problem is and how negatively it affects guests, especially people with asthma.

We were 3 adults and there are plenty of rooms to accommodate families and a small group of friends. Please note that there is city tax to be paid on site. Also just wanted to say a huge huge thank you to the staff. Amazingly helpful. Helped us to check in after hours and then when staying again, helped to order pizza 😊. And you can store your luggage. Breakfast is included. You will get a voucher which can be redeemed in 2 places. It's for a cup of coffee and a fresh pastry. Typical light Italian breakfast. Delicious. Just a note, to make sure you go to the correct one, ask before. As there are 2. One has RED flower pots in front and the other has WHITE. The staff is very helpful, and can chat to via WhatsApp. Thanks again!!!

We loved La Spezia and are glad we chose this city instead of staying in one of the actual Cinque Terre towns. Affittacamere is a ten minute walk to the La Spezia train station where frequent trains run frequently to the towns. Staying in La Spezia you have many great choices for shopping and dining without the crush of crowds and limited restaurant options. Our accommodations were well-appointed and comfortable: Affittacamere del Golfo is a collection of rooms with a lobby, in a typical older multi-family apartment building. Our room was well-maintained and clean, the bed was comfortable (and the bathroom was also clean and in full working order). There were no problems with water pressure or availability of hot water. Elisa, the proprietor, was friendly and helpful and always more than happy to get us situated and oriented. We asked for local dining off the beaten track and she directed us to a place near the water where we had amazing seafood every night. Affittacamere del Golfo is not fancy but it was exactly what we needed and we would stay there again without hesitation.

PPengguna TetamuWe have returned this week from a great 6 night stay at the NH Hotel La Spezia in Liguria Italy. Our room was a recently renovated Junior Suite on the 8th floor at the front of the Hotel, which gave us a great panoramic view of the whole of the Bay of La Spezia. The suite consisted of a large bedroom with an electronic safe situated in the built in wardrobe, a separate lounge with tea and coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. Wifi was available throughout the Hotel. The bathroom was modern and clean with a large walk-in shower cubicle. There were wall mounted televisions in both the lounge and the bedroom. We had breakfast in the dining room on the ground floor during our stay which included a great choice of hot and cold food and drinks. There is also a small bar on the ground floor and food is also available from the restaurant. The location of the Hotel is very good overlooking public gardens, the sea promenade, Cruise Terminal and Ferries to the nearby islands and the villages of the Cinque Terre National Park. It is a thirty minute walk from Spezia Centrale Station to the Hotel. There is a large choice of bars and restaurants available within a few minutes walk from the Hotel. The Hotel staff throughout our stay were all very pleasant and helpful and the bedroom suite and public areas were all well maintained. We found that the City of La Spezia had a good range of attractions to visit including the Castello San Giorgi and the Naval Technical Museum which we visited. Our main reason for visiting the area was to explore the 5 villages of the Cinque Terre; Monterosso Al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, which we managed to do by means of the excellent train service. Cinque Terre Cards available from the train station cost 18.20 euros for one day unlimited travel between La Spezia and the villages and these also allow access to the footpath network between the villages. During our stay we also visited the beautiful resort of Portovenere by ferry, which is also served by buses from La Spezia. We took the opportunity to visit the picturesque village of Santa Margherita Ligure from where we took a ferry to nearby Porto Fino. Buses also run between Santa Margherita and Porto Fino. We found the NH Hotel an ideal location to stay and from which to explore the area and would stay at the hotel again should we return to La Spezia.

PPengguna TetamuGreat Airbnb so convenient to everything. We stayed in room 5. The room was clean, spacious, the bed was a king very comfortable. There was additional pillows for us to choose from. The air-conditioning work great, even though you were in the heart of downtown it was super quiet. The Bathroom was large and the shower has great water pressure. Elisa, was very helpful in recommending places to eat at. Super nice gave us directions. There is a laundromat across the circle from here. Would highly recommend this Airbnb in the future. If you are going to do Cinco Terre, this is the place to stay. You are literally a block and a half from the train station.

AAlfYYI LOVE this place! It's right up the town of La Spezia. Excellent ”hide-away”, though it's a bit of a challenge to get there. Up the narrow winding road that leads up to this hidden gem of a location. Beautiful & fresh mountain views and excellent fresh mountain air!
The beds were comfortable - firm which is to my liking & toilet was a decent size.
Breakfast was surprisingly decently spread despite only 2 families being there (including myself) from 0800-1000.
We were given the GND Floor room, which is superb because it opens up to the outdoor lounge are which overlooks the beautiful harbour of La Spezia.
Don't expect much as there are no facilities - this is a 2 star hotel/accommodation.

la posizione è sicuramente comodissima, vicino al centro e vicino alla stazione dei treni (perfetto per girare le 5terre). Anche la camera devo dire ottima con tutto il necessario, l’unica cosa che mi sento di criticare è la pulizia, io e il mio fidanzato siamo entrati in camera trovando tantissimi capelli in terra sia nella camera che nel bagno.. e anche nel corridoio devo dire che la situazione non era diversa purtroppo. Per il resto ci siamo trovati molto bene

PPengguna TetamuAbbiamo soggiornato una notte…camera piccola ma molto confortevole,pulita e assolutamente tranquilla…poi la signora Giovanna la proprietaria assolutamente molto gentile e cordiale ,ci ha dato consigli su cosa visitare nel poco tempo che avevamo…poi posizione davvero strategica …per raggiungere le 5 terre, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria,altrettanto vicina al centro… consiglio di prenotare il parcheggio per auto…che si trova proprio di fronte allo stabile…quindi non mi resta che fare i complimenti e ringraziare per averci accolto in questo breve soggiorno…sicuramente ritorneremo a trovarvi..LO CONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE!!!
