Hotel la Zubia , Granada

We had a warm welcome from Joge. Lovely traditional style hotel. We ate in the restaurant and can highly recommend the food. We look forward to returning in future when visiting family. Granada is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. And it was nice to return to a hotel in a more peaceful environment.

Nice place to stay, clean and cosy rooms, the owners really kind and attentive. Recommended for couples and families. For a 2 star hotel has excellent quality and confortable. Is a Pet-Friendly and located near Granada and the Sierra Nevada.

We looked at multiple places in Granada and around and decided to stay at La Zubia. It was a very positive experience, quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, very friendly and helpful people and even tea and biscuits were included for breakfast! When checking out they allowed us to store our valuables there while we were exploring Granada.

Amazing, friendly staff. Very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed! A great knowledge of the local area really helped us when we were travelling. Rooms well kept and hotel was extremely close to main town and other attractions.

What a lovely little hotel. We stayed here as a base for walking in the Sierra Nevadas mountains, and we were surprised by how nice it was. The food and service in the restaurant sas excellent, and we were well looked after. I recommend this little place if you're in the region.

Comfortable beds, good sized bath room (with bath and shower). Friendly hotel staff. WhatsApp communications were good. We were given clear instructions for our late check in. Self-service breakfast laid out in breakfast room with tea and coffee making facilities. Bus stop just outside the front door for buses into Granada.

This small hotel punches well above its 2* rating. The location is perfect, close to all amenities. It is a splendid villa, set in its own lush grounds, with a restaurant and bar on site. The restaurant could take up a review by itself. Great menu choices, also reflecting the new Mexican influence brought to the hotel by its its owners. A really good wine list too. The outside seating area is charming and beautifully lit at night. The hotel has retained all the charm and character of its former days. A beautiful styled entrance hall with a mezzanine staircase showing the Spanish/Moorish architecture. Our room was a good size and comfortable. I really appreciated the firmness of the mattress. Balcony doors led out to overlook (what used to be a 'zen garden' and doubtless the new owners will restore it in time. The ensuite was as pristine and commodious as the room. Daily cleaning was thorough. The reception is not manned at times, but the delightful Monica is but a 'What's App' away from resolving any issues or questions you may have. Very friendly and professional staff, especially Monica and Jorge in the restaurant. Although in previous reviews, breakfast had been offered (and *********** mentioned breakfast included), it appears that in these early days for the new owners, you may be offered some pastries and fruit and coffee in the small reception/ lounge (but I think it is by prior arrangement). Hopefully this may change. The restaurant also does not open until the evening, so during the day, the hotel may seem deserted but it is an oasis of calm and tranquility. Nice small Hotel, in a lovely small town outside of Granada. We have received a wonderful hospitality from the Staff of the Hotel.

Un lugar muy tranquilo y sin ruidos por la noche para poder descansar. La atención personal muy buena y un trato excelente. Habitaciones muy amplias y limpias. El patio central es muy bonito! nos dejaron dos almohadas en las 3 camas por si quieres mas altura o menos para dormir. El baño incluido en la habitación es muy amplio. Está muy cerca de Granada Capital y la parada del autobús está justo delante del hotel. Nos encantó! Si no te cuadra desayunar en el hotel por sus horarios tienes muy cerca dos bares donde te atienden muy bien
