"The hotel is conveniently located: turn right and walk about 900 meters to U2, or turn left and walk about 800 meters to U3. There's also a DM supermarket nearby. Breakfast was quite generous with a good variety of fruits, and the taste was decent. You'll need to ask the front desk if you need a kettle."
"The location is acceptable; it's a bit of a walk to the subway, but manageable. The room is quite simple but spacious enough to open two large suitcases with plenty of room to walk around. The mini-bar is free, but I'm not used to German drinks. The bathroom facilities are old, and there's no door to the toilet. The three sliding glass panels of the shower door aren't connected. The front desk staff were neither warm nor cold. It's just a very average business hotel."
"The location is decent; it's just one stop away from the Olympia Shopping Center. The hotel is about 500 meters from the U-Bahn station, and the U3 line goes directly to Marienplatz, which is very convenient. On the first day, we left the 'change towels' sign out, but no one cleaned the room. On the second day, they only made the bed and still didn't replace the towels."
"Stayed here for 4 night. Good location near with a tram station just next to the hotel.
My flight arrived early for check in but they had rooms available so they were accommodating. After long flight, I really appreciate that.
And yes, electric kattle available."
"The hotel environment is very comfortable, and the hygiene is impeccable. The facilities are well-maintained and feel brand new. The staff are warm and attentive, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The amenities are comprehensive, and it offers great value for money. It's perfect for both short trips and business stays, highly recommended."
"Extremely satisfied! The air conditioning was wonderfully cool, and the service was excellent 👍. On my first day, I just went to drop off my luggage in the morning, but when I asked at the front desk, they happened to have a room ready, so they let me check in early. The room also had a coffee machine, a fresh bottle of water daily, and a refrigerator in the cabinet."
"Overall, it was a good hotel and I had a comfortable stay. The room met my expectations and everything was fine during my visit.
The only downside was that there was no reception available on-site, which could be inconvenient for guests who may need assistance. Aside from that, my experience was smooth and pleasant."
"I stayed here temporarily to work on a paper. The footsteps upstairs were incredibly loud, I'm not sure if it was the stairs or something else. The room itself was a nice studio, well-decorated and laid out, but it smelled of new construction and cooking. Check-in was quite easy, but the room didn't even have a deadbolt. People often gathered to smoke outside the entrance downstairs. I wouldn't really recommend it for single women who are easily scared. It's right next to OEZ, so shopping is quite convenient. It's a very cheap hotel, and for the price, the environment was decent. The sheets had some dirty spots, I don't think they'd been changed. I just shook them off and went back to sleep…"
"Very good clean hotel w good amenities & fairly spacious room. The shower was more than adequate, but since I'm judging you by higher standards, I'd say, just work on the little bit mold on the tiles. Breakfast is very good, but I would add a breakfast pastry of some sort. There was good bread, jam and butter so still met the needs of those who prefer a sweet breakfast. Overall, i'd stay again. Staff was very pleasant."
"Stayed at the Superior Kaiyi Hotel in Munich Domastrass Stars! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, modern and elegant, and the beds are moderately firm and hard, and you can sleep until dawn. The location is excellent, just in the lively area of Domastra, a few minutes walk to the train station and the city center, shopping and eating are super convenient. The waiter was super kind, took care of everything from check-in to check-out, and recommended the nearby awesome beer house. Breakfast is varied and fresh bread and coffee are memorable."

Great
DDinah A RazaliThe hotel is situated in a quiet and peaceful residential area with just a 10 min walk to Nordfriedhof station and also nearby tram station. The breakfast buffer spread is great, my favorites are salmon + horseradish and croissant. Extensive selection of beverages from juices, coffee, tea and milk. The room provides nice bedding with comfortable pillows and the toilet is spacious.
TTravellerLMy stay at the Munich Art Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The decor is very stylish and there are many artworks adorning the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, being right next to Munich Central Station. It's super easy to get anywhere in the city by train, subway, or tram, which is a real time-saver for travelers. The room rate was very affordable, and the room was cleaned daily, making for a very satisfying overall stay. The guy at the front desk was also really friendly and welcoming; he'd always greet me warmly whenever I came and went, which made me feel right at home. Plus, a free and generous breakfast was offered every morning. All in all, it's a hotel with a great location, reasonable prices, and a warm, personal touch. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munich.
AAnonymous UserLocation & Transportation: When I was planning my trip to Munich, I spent ages looking for a hotel. I initially wanted something near the train station for convenience, but then I worried about safety. Staying near the exhibition center felt a bit too far out. I stumbled upon this hotel, which was described as being in a safe residential area with a metro station right outside. Plus, I heard KK is a well-known Austrian chain.
Indeed, the metro (U-Bahn) is literally right outside the hotel entrance (check the last picture). The elevator takes you directly into the station, which is super convenient. You can't buy tickets directly in the elevator area, but the ticket validation machine is right at the elevator entrance. If you need to take the S-Bahn, it's easier to use a different entrance to avoid getting lost. Getting to major attractions like Marienplatz is quick and easy from here.
AAnonymous UserThe room isn't huge, but it's sufficient. The bathroom and bedding were clean. They provided a complimentary bottle of water. However, the mattress dipped in the middle, which wasn't very comfortable.
The location is incredibly convenient, very close to the subway station.
There's a PENNY supermarket just across from the hotel's side entrance.
Breakfast was mediocre. The lids on the hot food containers need repair; they wouldn't stay open. I'm quite tall, and even I had trouble closing them once opened. One day, a lid wouldn't stay open while I was serving myself, and it fell and hit my hand. It broke the skin, and seven days later, I still have a large bruise. (The restaurant supervisor gave me some medicine).
The room had a balcony, which was lovely, but it seemed unused for a long time. The table and chairs were dusty, and there were even cobwebs. I wiped some of it, but stopped because my arm started to hurt. If you're a solo traveler and don't spend much time in the room, I wonder if the hotel has rooms without balconies, which might offer more interior space.
SSC CheersThe hotel room is very comfortable. The bedsheets smell hygiene and good. I love the bathroom with beautiful bathtub 🛀. They provide very comfortable bathrobes by default. Their service is excellent. Can ask for extra still water and standard stuff without charging.
I would definitely wanna book the same hotel if I am in Munich. Location is just next to the main interchange train station with direct ride to Munich Airport.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located near Munich's Old Town, within walking distance of the train station. The facilities are excellent, and the staff are warm, friendly, and helpful. In particular, H. Ngo and Sevinj A. at the front desk were patient in answering our questions and proactively assisted us with issues like charging our phones and navigating transportation. Such outstanding employees are a soft power for the company; hotel management should value and promote them. We will definitely choose this hotel again for our future trips to Munich.
MMinmin23Spent a weekend in Munich, one day visiting Neuschwanstein Castle and another day Salzburg. Both trips departed from the main train station, and on the third day, I headed to the airport, also from the station. It turned out to be incredibly convenient, just a few minutes walk to the platforms.
GGuest UserHotel teams are very kind and ready to respond to your requests.
Food is perfect and delicious.
Hotel is quite new and clean.
Location is a bit far from Munich center but it is very convenient for traveling. Also, very clean and safe area.
Hotel is far from train station just 1-2 min walk.
GGuest UserWe were pretty satisfied with our room and felt it was well appointed for the price. We got the twin bed room and felt it was pretty spacious with lots of room for our things. They had a closet area, two stools, a table, side tables by the beds, and a small TV. The wifi was pretty strong during our stay too. The bathroom was good too with good shower pressure and temperature. They have an all in one body wash/shampoo so you may want to bring your own products. The hotel does not use key cards but instead has codes to unlock the doors.
The beds were comfy and the linens were clean and new. The pillow was thin but it was fine for what we needed. The temperature is pretty easy to control in this room with an AC unit and radiator but we didn't need either in December. We got a good night's sleep both nights at this hotel. The area is quiet when it matters but it should be noted that the nearby church starts ringing its bells at 8 am and some of the businesses nearby make a bit of noise later in the night as they close.
The hotel is in a decent area with lots of convenience stores and middle eastern restaurants nearby. It is about a 10 minute walk away from Munich's Central Station and has good tram access around the area to get to most of Munich's major sites pretty quickly. We did get lots of walking done while in Munich and felt the area our hotel was in was pretty safe.
The hotel does have a small common area in the lobby and a small garden. You can get a drink or some snacks at the front desk. The hotel does offer breakfast for an additional fee on the top floor and if you are a member through their application you can get a slight discount. There is a parking garage underneath the hotel and some street parking nearby. You may need to call ahead to confirm parking because it is a small hotel and street parking is limited. They offered luggage storage for us when we arrived early but needed time to clean the rooms so they could not provide early check in. The front staff were nice and efficient.
GGuest Userfacilities:
I was surprised there was a toilet/shower in the dorm room which is very convenient. Everything is clean and modern. There's a kitchen for use or you can also order from the bar (ground floor or rooftop)
Location:
walking distance to the train/metro station, there's also a tram stop right in front of the hostel. I get to Marienplatz from hostel within half hour.
Could be improved :
wifi is very weak in the room.
Some top places to stay in Munich are near popular attractions like Marienplatz and BMW Museum—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
