This was my first visit to Suwon, and I had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean, looked just like the photos, and the bed was comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. I arrived late, but check-in was easy, and the staff were very kind and helpful even though I don’t speak Korean. One evening, I wanted to order Korean fried chicken but couldn’t use the local delivery apps, so the front desk helped me place the order. I really appreciated their help and enjoyed eating the chicken in my room. There are restaurants and a 24-hour convenience store nearby, and it was easy to take a taxi to Suwon Hwaseong. I would stay here again.

Great Location & Exceptional Service – Novotel Suwon We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Suwon and will definitely stay here again! Room: The room was clean, well-maintained, and a decent size. Front Desk: The front desk staff were wonderfully patient and helpful, taking the time to give clear, detailed instructions on how to get to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Location & Access: The location is super convenient, featuring direct internal access to the adjacent mall during operating hours (10:30 AM – 10:00 PM), making shopping and dining hassle-free regardless of the weather. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and very pleasant stay!

I always book this hotel for my business trips. The environment is nice, and it's close to my company. There's a Lotte Department Store nearby, which is convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, the breakfast spread is quite good, and the service is excellent.

The room was clean with basic amenities. Housekeeping however was almost nonexistent for our 10 day stay. Someone came once in a while to empty the trash bins but the sheets were never swapped out nor the floors ever cleaned. All communication was done via text messages. I called the number on the booking confirmation and got a text almost immediately asking me to text any questions. My biggest problem I had however was the fact that episode does not have en elevator. I was put on the 4th floor and hauling up my huge check in luggage’s were no joke and hauling back down on check out day nearly broke my back. All in all, episode stay is located in a quiet alley with a CU located just steps away for store runs. If you need to take public transportation, the bus stop is close by. If you travel with a lot of baggage, pray that you get a room on the 1st floor.

Family room is big with 2 queen beds. Room is clean and amenities provided is good with water dispenser machine, teabag and coffee mix at floor level. Newly built located next to arte hotel. However, there is no shower curtain, as such the floor is pretty wet after each shower. It may be good that there are more hooks or hangers provided in a family room for 4 pax use. Location - near many good eateries and restaurants, and drinking places. CU is just opposite the hotel which is a plus. For travellers who are not driving, its a hassle to pull your bag through uneven pavement to find the hotel. (Nearest suwon city hall stop). We requested for leave luggage at reception which was obliged before and after check in and out.

I highly recommend the Marriot Hotel! My stay here was absolutely fantastic, exceeding all expectations.✨ The cleanliness was exceptional. The room was spotless, the bedding clean and fluffy, and the bathroom free of any strange odors. You could tell the housekeeping team paid great attention to detail, making for a truly comfortable stay. The hotel's ambiance is superb. It's conveniently located, making it easy to get around and find places to eat. The hotel's interior design is simple yet elegant, and the public areas are clean and quiet. The soundproofing is excellent too, so I wasn't disturbed at all and had a very restful sleep. The service was impeccable! The front desk staff were warm and professional. Check-in and check-out were quick, and they were always prompt in responding to any requests. Their attentiveness throughout made me feel especially welcome. The room facilities were complete and brand new. The deluxe twin room was spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the toiletries were of good quality. All the amenities were well-provided, perfectly meeting my travel needs. Whether you're traveling solo or on a business trip, this hotel is an excellent choice. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit and have already recommended it to my friends!

Although the building seems a bit dated, the room—including the bathroom, bed, and table—was spotless, so you don't need to worry about hygiene at all. The owner was also very kind. I left my luggage before check-in and asked about the neighborhood's safety; I was really grateful that they gave me their business card and told me to call if anything happened, even though it is a safe area. It might have been a coincidence, but when I checked in, they assigned me a room close to the front desk, which gave me a great sense of security even when returning late at night. I highly recommend this place for solo female travelers. Thank you, owner!

Overall, it was clean and quiet at night. You could comfortably walk around barefoot, truly on par with a 5-star hotel! Due to environmental considerations, toiletries weren't provided. The front desk staff all spoke English and communication was very smooth, resolving any issues promptly. The staff were polite and enthusiastic, and there was even a Chinese check-in guide, which was a thoughtful touch and absolutely wonderful!

The bigger bath towel is only given 1 piece for a double room that I booked for 2 nights. Toilet paper need to be thrown into the rubbish bin and yet there’s no bidet at the toilet bowl. Would recommend adding this feature. Room is not cleaned after one night stay. Not too sure if you’ll need to make special requests. The room has an aircon unit but the Aircond were switched off centrally and cannot be used. Room has floor heating so the room is warm. You’ll need to open the window to let the cool air in. Stayed during Jan in winter. Hotel is a tad old. The basin has no stopper and turn moldy green

I have been coming to this hotel for a little over a year, and I never had any problems until they started making changes. I understand charging for basic amenities, but can you at least put a bar of soap in the bathroom for handwashing. I also didn't have the nice LG clothes closet that refreshes your clothes. I wasn’t able to freshen my jacket, and the mattress is also harder. They did install a bigger TV and added better TV remote directions in English with a channel listing. But what did it for me was during the checkout. In the past, when I had a lot of bags to carry to the KTX or Bus Terminal, they always were helpful in calling me a taxi. I asked like I normally do, and not only was I denied, but I was also waved off as if he couldn't be bothered. I tried to tell him that I was going to the KTX, but he kept saying airport taxi across the street. Due to frustration and time constraints, I left. I didn't want to miss my train. I will definitely patron another hotel after this. Disappointed.
