Fabulous time was had by all 16 of us. Loads of activities for young and old, you can be very active or just chill. Food was amazing, lots of choice and fresh every day, cakes, pastries and bread were delicious. Pools were clean and apart from x3 big pools, there was an Olympic size pool, a shallow pool and a splash park. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned everyday, everywhere in the hotel was clean mind. Entertainment team were really good fun and evening entertainment was varied. All inclusive option really good value. Drinks were proper drinks and not watered down( like you get in some resorts) and the bar snacks available throughout the day were very good. Cake was arranged for my husband’s 60th birthday at no extra cost. Very good location, very good bus and taxi services at very reasonable prices, not far from town where good choice of bars and restaurants if needed. The staff work really hard and you get the feeling that they really enjoy their jobs which made our stay a very welcoming and relaxing one. This resort has got it very right. Thank you all so much, none of us wanted to go home 😀

The reception staff and staff in the Royal level restaurant were perfect. We celebrated 2 birthdays during our stay and they went out of their way to make it memorable . The only improvements to make would be to have a separate Royal level bar in the evenings with premium drinks, as we have had this in other venues owned by the Barcelo group.. We were also disappointed with the final day when we were not leaving til late afternoon, we could not keep the room on and the showers that we were offered were in the main toilets with no privacy. Overall we had a great 2 weeks and would return to this hotel.

Located in this popular resort and just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, these studio apartments give you the independence of a self-catered holiday while being close to the resort’s amenities. The complex holds two floors connected only by stairs. Therefore, people with reduced mobility must book ground floor rooms. What a find! This modern, spacious and well equipped two-storey villa has 5 bedrooms and is a world of luxury. A 20-25 minute walk from the airport along a safe dual use cycle path / footpath, you don't need a taxi or a bus. We booked Magma Rooms for the first 2 nights of a 7 day visit, as was arriving late 10pm+ from the UK. A second night at Magma was good to explore nearby restaurants and visit the beach in the day. What can I say about the room? It had everything you needed from free-to-use safe, flat screen TV, power shower, hairdryer, fan, extra pillows and blankets. In the shared facilities there is a Nespresso machine and mini bar fridge (pay via honesty box) as well as wine glasses, bottle opener etc. They have thought of everything! After check-out we then walked back to the airport to catch the # 161 bus to Puerto del Carmen (1.40€ each).

We spent two weeks at Casa de Hilario in Feb/March. The house is a traditional rural house outside the village of Yaiza in the centre of Lanzarote. Our bedroom was large and comfortable with views to the village and one of the many small volcanic peaks. Breakfasts were buffet style and self service, with tables indoors and outdoors on the large garden terrace. The food was fresh and the service from Lucia was excellent. The house was unstaffed in the afternoons and evenings and there was no bar or coffee facilities, which we missed. The guests all learned to stock up on snacks and drinks in the local supermarket. There is a good, traditional restaurant (Bodega de Santiago) next door for those who don't want to travel too far to eat, though our favourite restaurant was the nearby, sister property Casona de Yaiza which was excellent (we ate there four times). A good base for travelling around the island and will suit those who seek peace and tranquility in a lovely village. Not so good for those seeking a lively nightlife.

We booked the hotel (rather late in the day) as part of an Inntravel package - and only then read some of the negative reviews here. Our experience of the hotel brought us to an opposite conclusion. The location on the edge of the small town of Yaiza is not remote, but quiet and tranquil, and only a relatively short drive to the southernmost beaches and resorts, rugged coastal path, or in other directions, the amazing Timanfaya National Park. The room we had was next to the pool (very cold, but invigorating!), and was clean, spacious, and had a great shower and a very comfortable bed. It was cleaned daily, and the only improvement we would suggest is that it could benefit from having a couple of chairs (it had one plastic chair). Some other rooms seemed to be a little more opulent, but the one we had was more than adequate for our needs, and met out expectations Breakfast, served in the courtyard, was wholesome, with a wide and plentiful choice of fresh fruits, cereals, yogurts, ham, salami, cheese and breads etc. The breakfast staff, who worked very hard, were fantastic, charming and infinitely patient. Evening meals at the restaurant (which is not run by the hotel, as far as we understood the situation) was a relaxed, very tasty and friendly experience. The management were there to help and advise, and we didn't feel any negative vibes. We had a very relaxing time at the hotel, and wish it and its charming staff well for the future.

Upon arrival room was ready and had to check in at 5pm we arrived at 1pm. There is no where to store luggage safely so be prepared to leave it in a room any guest has access too. The bungalows are really really tired. I'm talking holes in the walls, tape on the door. Locks on the front doors not working and having screws hanging out, Rust in the bath tub etc. There is also no air con so be prepared to either open a window and get eaten alive by mosquitos or sweat the night away. The kitchen was so bad it had swelled chipboard on the cupboards sockets that didn't work and dated appliances. We didn't use the pool because the minute we arrived toy could just see how poorly maintained it was and we didn't want to risk it. I'm talking rust inside the pool and on the bottom you could see stones or some sort of debris which just put us off. After our first day one of the small pools was shut off. Didn't bother us as again they looked grim and dirty. They only clean your room 3 days a week and it's not a big clean as our room still had hairs on the floor. The only plus side is the location. It's really near the sea and along as your fit you can walk along the front to a few different beaches and bars. I myself would never return as honestly I'm lay in bed here at 5 am dripping in sweat as I can't sleep as it's too hot and opening a window will be opening the door to a feast for mosquitos.

HIPOTEL Natura Palace was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. On arriving at hotel we were greeted by a man with a trolley who immediately picked up our cases and took them inside and eventually to our room.We had emailed hotel a few weeks previously to ask for Almond milk with no sugar for my wife. At reception they informed us that this had been done. Room was large, cleaned every day with tea and coffee replenished every day. Restaurant was large and finding a table was easy for breakfast and dinner. Food was excellent. Two large swimming pools with easy access to sunloungers and umbrellas whenever we went there, be it morning or afternoon. Staff were very pleasant and helpful always with a smile. There was a small supermarket across the road for basic items. Buses ran every half hour toPlaya Blanca. We had a very restful ,pleasant holiday at HIPOTEL Natura Palace

Overall experience good, staff amazing especially Veronica! Manager of the main restaurant was rude at times and arrogant attitude! Not enough staff, but they coped well, we felt sorry for them! Ridiculous that you had to pay for water if you had it in a bottle, and we were all inclusive, also only had free water in the evening, out of the tap I assume, not bottled! Food was average, entertainment good, pool good, cleanliness very good! Weather was amazing, beach was across the road, close to all amenities and restaurants and shops!

FFabiana NavarroNo me gusto que 1 Semana Antes llamamos y fuimos a preguntar si nos podían cambiar la habitación por una con vista a la playa y nos dijeron que nos lo harían el mismo día que entremos y luego ese día no tenían habitación disponible y reservé ahí Justo por tener una habitación vista a la playa por una sorpresa de cumpleaños que quería hacer. Me pareció muy mal de su parte.

This was our 10th visit here! We have always come here as it has been our paradise! This visit I have only rated 4 star for the reasons being we were a couple who have always requested a ground floor pool view junior suite. On arrival which was 21.45 we were told they only had a family room available! Which we took has we’d been travelling all day and just wanted to chill out! The room was ok but there was no pool view instead our balcony was facing the building site. Again we were told they were full!so we just bared with it and never used the balcony which was disappointing! From day 1 we went to reception and asked different staff about a late checkout! Was told come back the day before so the day before I went back and was told come back the day of checkout! I stated I had been asking all week just to secure this as our flight was 22.30. Was told again to come back on checkout day! So the next day at 8 in the morning went back and was told NO as they were full!! What is the point of trying to give enough notice ? The hotel to me was overbooked all the time! We have been coming 8 years and never seen it as full! Sun beds reserved from crack of dawn every day! Also on the day of check out we were given a bill to settle from the pool bar which wasn’t ours! The same happened to another couple who checked out the same time as us too so the management need to find out who is having free drinks and giving other peoples room numbers! A better more secure system needs to be in place as this is fraud and theft!! Whether we will decide to come back an 11th time we don’t know!

It is the best hotel in which we have ever been. The rooms are huge and comfortable. Food was amazing, a lot of different tastes every day. Places for children prepared very well. Hotel is splitted into different areas. If you travel with children you get the room closly to the pool for children and playground. If you travel adults only you get the nice room close to the swimming pool for adults only. Hotel is allocated close to the beach. We would like to thank all the service teams there. Especially to Bartek, Francesca and Anas from the animation team! Thank you for amazing time spent toghether!

PPengguna TetamuI was made feel very welcome when I arrived at Pension Magec. The hospitality I received from the management and other guests was amazing. Its a very friendly place. The property is very clean and my room was cleaned everyday. The management are extremely helpful. The management will go out of their way ensure that guests needs are met all times. Carla is lovely as are everyone else works there including Sandi the manager The view from the top veranda is stunning. The guests can sit and have a drink and chat together on the veranda. As a solo traveller you would never be lonely and its very safe. Everyone talks to each other when up on the veranda. You are made feel welcome by both management and other guests at all times. There is always someone to talk to. I felt we were like a big happy family. There is free tea and coffee at the property. I would highly recommend Pension Magec as its very central. PPengguna TetamuStayed for two nights whilst on vacation exploring Lanzarote, paying a pretty good price for a last-minute booking. The compact hotel is very well located near the centre of Arrecife, on the coast almost directly opposite the Castillo de San Gabriel. There is no parking available at the hotel, although there is a large public 24hr underground carpark near the Arrecife Gran Hotel about a 10-minute walk away (around 30€ for a day and a half). Check in was quick and friendly, despite a late-night arrival. My room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the back streets of Arrecife. The room was comfortable although the décor was perhaps a little old. Good WIFI, but the room had only one free power socket (as the fridge had been unplugged before I arrived). The bed was fairly comfortable, some noise from the street at night, but nothing too loud. My room didn’t have aircon, which wasn’t an issue in October, but maybe an issue in the summer? Breakfast was on the terrace at the top of the hotel giving really good views; and a good selection to food choose from. Overall, a well located hotel to explore Arrecife and the surrounding area, but given the limited facilities at the hotel and lack of parking maybe better for short stays!

We stayed at this hotel for a week during the British half term at the end of October. We had a lovely time and would recommend this hotel to everyone. Location: We travelled with jet 2. It was only a 20 minute coach ride. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly receptionist. Our luggages were delivered by the hotel staff. Room: Every room is a seaview room. Our room is on the 2nd floor at the right side of the hotel. It is not great but ok. The room deco is dated but well cleaned. The air condition was very noisy so we slept without it for the whole week. (so sleeping quality affected) Imagine if you are here in the summer, it could be a nightmare. The internet never worked on the laptop. It was slow when you played videos on your phone. One night the fire alarm went at 4 a.m. Nothing happened and no explaination from the hotel. Wired. Member of staff: Every member of staff we met was lovely and friendly. The cleaner always made our room clean and tidy. The reception ladies/gents were always smiling. The waiters, waitresses and chefs in the restaurant worked so hard to clean the tables and help people find seats. They were polite, friendly and always smiling. Thank you to Mr. Li who looked after us really well and made me feel like home as we are from the same country. Food: I was so looking forward to having breakfast and dinner during our stay. They had a wide range of pastries in the morning and they were so well baked and delicious. The gluten free yogurt was so good. At dinner time, we had different cuisine almost every night. I loved the ribs, Spanish Paella, and steaks but my favorite night was Chinese! The chefs are from China and can really cook! As we were half board, we had to pay for our drinks at dinner. When we brought our own drinks, the staff respected and served us the same as other people. Apart from that, I love the effort they made for Halloween. The decoration in the restaurant was amazing! Beach: You can access the beach directly but it is rocky. If you walk a bit further, the beach's condition is much better. Swimming Pool: The pool was clean, heated and not crowded at all. We spent most of the time around 3 different swimming pools. Temperature at the end of October could be too cold to swim in the afternoon, especially on some windy days. All in all, we had a lovely time here. I was surprised there were not many kids around as it was a school holiday. Don’t worry if you are half board. The supermarket Spar is only 3 minutes walk and has everything you need. By the way, you can also book local trips with the hotel. It is safe and handy. I would recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from our second time at Panorama - a 5 night stay. (previously 10). We love it here! It feels like our Lanzarote home now and we have booked again for March next year. -The staff are lovely -Food at the pool bar is yummy -Rooms are great - just wish the un-refurbished ones had the ceiling fan as that was greatly missed on our first trip! -Pool area very chilled - no rush for sunbeds in a morning Overall, we once again came home feeling chilled - thank you Panorama :D x

People say this is basic. August I was in Albania stayed at three hotels and I got what I paid for . Stayed in one Panorama hotel was outstanding but was quite expensive. Went to Agadir in October again I paid extra for a pool view and I got what I paid for. Think people want everything for nothing. I get if I was staying next to bins being emptied etc but if people are going to moan about the pool being freezing in October come on , do you really expect anything else apart from a heated pool!! Not here to watch TV however I do get it with the remote but again other guests have abused that situation so the hotel has to remove the control. The staff were lovely , beds were comfy , shower was fine with plenty hot water . The pool area is nice and clean . Staff were lovely no issues with them Yes I would stay here again for what I paid for it . The only thing I do have a problem with is people especially on the lower levels putting towels out at stupid o'clock in the morning . The pool has the sun all day and there's plenty of beds. Come on folks !

MMichaelJohnthis hotel is perfect if you want easy way to get to airport the next day. there is a bus stop 5 min walk away, the buses connect all the island. the staff are efficient and polite. they helped me print my boarding pass at no charge. I didn't try the dinner buffet(half a dozen dishes)but looked good for about 18 euros. there is a big map of arrecife on the wall that you can photo and use to get around the city. we had a sea view room,recommended the view is nice.
