Superb central location by the cathedral so easy access to the local centre of town, shops restaurants etc. For travel it’s also easy to flag down taxi cabs. Suites 1478 is an old building beautifully renovated for the better healed traveller. However we found the rooms odour over powering, ambiance dark and depressing. Layout and supplies were adequate with underground car park access nearby. No English channels on tv ! Internet was pretty much NO GO!! Advised to try the Cathedral cafe supply 🤷‍♀️ but still no access. Even moved rooms as an essential these days and still no reliable connection. Hotel said it was ‘ being fixed next week when we complained but I think an ongoing issue as electrically /internet has a major flaw. Breakfast display was good but nothing covered, and no freshly cooked food especially eggs- eggs cooked at 8 am if not taken we’re still there at 10. One major dislike was the fact the breakfast was open to locals and visitors so often busy and hence lost the cosy feel and often we felt intruding.🤔 Staff were pleasant and helpful but sure to attend to outside guests first we noted.

Getting off the Club Med 2 ship I walked with my luggage to your beautiful hotel, KA-POW! My room had views of the docks, the restaurant on the 23rd floor had incredible views and impeccable service. The swimming pool on the 25th floor was nice, just right for a little dip. Thank you Elizabeth who checked me in, I walked in stressed and left refreshed and happy. Your English is excellent and your kindness was much appreciated. A good haircut helped too, there are many salons and massage places in walking distance. I enjoyed sitting at a few sidewalk cafes, walking around and window shopping. The beach was a an eight minute walk and the dock was a three minute walk. Thank you to Manuel who checked me out and helped me with my luggage. I highly recommend this hotel.

I am happy to my stay with Secrotel Hotel Praque. I book it after checking reviews from other travelers comment. Yes, price is good and to it's location, it is close to shopping centre, restaurants and supermarkets. Staff are helpful. Buffet breakfast is good. Breakfast restaurant is on the top level of this hotel, we can enjoy stunning ocean view and sunlight while having breakfast. It is bonus. However, a minor thing I like to share is during busy morning especially when restaurant is full house, it always running out of coffee cups, juice glasses as well as cereal bowls. I cannot have to wait a long while for these 3 times from my 5 days breakfast. Maybe hotel can put some signage to suggest guests be eco-friendly minded to re-use glass, cup and bowl when refill. As I have seen some have 5 -6 cups and glass on a table. Bed is comfortable, room is clean with basic things you need. Yes, no electric kettle, no slippers as standard 3 stars hotel do. So, I have no complaint. There has no more noise from constructions, as this is my concern after reading other travelers comments in the pass. So I think all is done. Hotel locates next to taxi, bus station but not close to beach area. It's no problem to me for this winter travel. I am very happy for all. Definitely recommend it to others.

Fabulous hotel, cannot recommend it highly enough. Great location, just one block from santa Catalina park, over looking the port and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms are stunning and very well appointed, lovely big showers, plenty of hanging space etc. The only slight improvement that could be made is the air conditioning, it's not the greatest and my particular room was particularly warm but reception did give me an extra card so I could leave the electricity on when I left the room and this helped a lot, it took about 24 hours but eventually the temperature came down sufficiently. The roof top bar has some stunning views and is a great place to relax with the drink, the bar staff are great, helpful and friendly an make a pretty good mojito too. The roof top solarium on the other side of the roof could do with a little improvement in terms of furniture but the view is still great and the little pool is a great place to cool your feet after a busy day sight seeing. Breakfast is of very good quality, small selection of hot items but lots of fruit, pastries, cereals, juices etc etc, again the staff here are all friendly and helpful, as they are on reception too. This is a city center hotel and there is no view from many of the windows, mine overlooked a neighbouring apartment block (only a few feet away across a slim courtyard) some look out into an internal courtyard, but the staff, the location and the size and quality of the rooms definitely make up for this and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great base to explore this beautiful island.

Hotel was nice, but very disappointed with the breakfast, pancakes felt like you were eating the sole of a shoe, some mornings all you could have was fried egg or a boiled egg as nothing else was available ( hot food wise ) the Continental breakfast was always low in items available and pastries were under cooked. If I stayed again I would not have the breakfast. Rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable but the fridge didn't work and the desk was not connected to the wall so if u put something on the end it started to tip to that side. I would class this as a 3 star hotel at best.

Si lo que buscas es algo barato y rápido, para descansar y poco más, está bien. Aún es un poco elevado el precio para lo poco que ofrece, pero está bastante céntrico y si lo que quieres es solamente pasar la noche y pasarte el día fuera, no está nada mal. Los pros son la limpieza del lugar y que te brindan una cocina por cada piso por si necesitas usar lo básico, además en recepción eran bastante simpáticas, lo cual siempre es un plus; los contras...las habitaciones son bastante pequeñas y, sobre todo, no tienen baño propio, por lo que tienes que estar observando y escuchando a ver si otros clientes han pasado al baño y aguantarte y esperar a que terminen, lo que se hace bastante incómodo. Pero en general, la experiencia fue bastante buena para lo que estaba buscando en mi viaje express.
