Hotel berhampiran Kurpark Lauenau, Lauenau

Bekanntlich hat man ja nur eine Chance für einen ersten Eindruck - die telefonische Buchung direkt im Hotel war positiv und nett, zwischenzeitlich war Fußball EM und die Türkei hier zu Gast - na, da waren wir ja mal gespannt wie es hier so ist. Ich sag mal so - wenn man überreif in den Urlaub geht und direkt bei der viel zu frühen Ankunft morgens um 10 Uhr mit einem strahlenden Lächeln empfangen wird, fängt‘s ja schon gut an. Das Zimmer war auch schon bezugsfertig, hell, groß, gepflegt, einzig eine Klimaanlage wäre im Sommer nett, aber es ist auch ohne gut auszuhalten. Der Ausblick über die Fußballplätze in den Wald ist schön, tagsüber haben Kids trainiert, aber zu zivilen Uhrzeiten - also Ein- und Ausschlafen sind nicht gefährdet und abends war Ruhe. Geschlafen haben wir in den Betten wunderbar! Wellness, Fitness und Pool sind super in Schuss und gepflegt. Die gebuchte Massage war ein Träumchen! Restaurant, Bar und Biergarten haben hoteltypisch etwas höhere, aber keinesfalls überzogene Preise - beim Essen hatten wir in Sachen Frische, Geschmack und Garpunkt keinen Grund zur Reklamation, einmal hat unserer Tochter was nicht geschmeckt, wurde von der Rechnung genommen und was anderes bestellt - der gesamte Service im Restaurant ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und unaufdringlich - man kann entspannt frühstücken ohne zu viel „Abräumhektik“ am Tisch. Im Biergarten konnten wir entspannt die Tage ausklingen lassen, Michael T. hat uns da auch immer perfekt versorgt. Das gesamte Personal war immer sehr zuvorkommend, nett und hatte immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen, leider haben wir uns nicht viele Namen gemerkt. Vielleicht auch dem Thema Sport positiv geschuldet herrscht im Hotel jedenfalls eine entspannte Grundstimmung, die uns persönlich sehr entgegen gekommen ist, wir haben uns dort alles in allem prima aufgehoben gefühlt und in den paar Tagen auf der Durchreise toll erholt.

When I checked out the Hotel staff very rudely advised me to wear a FFP2 face mask instead of a surgical mask. Since this a state requirement, I immediately followed and changed the mask. However, not only was I shocked by the rudeness of the hotel staff but also that he himself did not wear a FFP2 mask. When I asked him and advised that the rules apply to everybody, he again very rudely commented that he is exempted. I was shocked by the behavior, also because the other staff were very friendly. The hotel management should take decisive action

Sind um 13.00 im Hotel angekommen. Zimmer war schon frei (sonst hätten wir nur die Koffer abgestellt) allerdings hat man uns zehn Euro pro Stunde für früheres Check-in berechnet, also zwanzig Euro zusätzlich. Unpassend und unüberlegt: würden alle Anreisenden um Punkt 15.00 einchecken, käme Stress auf. Außerdem haben wir umgekehrt keine Rückerstattung erhalten, obwohl wir schon 1,5 Stunden vor Termin ausgecheckt haben. Lage toll, sehr zentral. Zimmer wirklich wirklich richtig Mini klein! Waschbecken im Schlafbereich, keinerlei Privatsphäre. Frühstück klasse.

Good beds, functional hotel. No shampoo or any of such in the bathroom (take your own). The breakfast was below expectations, but pricy. The first morning we had our breakfast at 9 am, that was obviously too late, since there was no vegetables at all anymore. Also many other things were gone. The second morning we had the breakfast at 7.45 am, but it did not get much better. I would have expected jus d'orange (both mornings not at all), fried eggs or soft boiled eggs (both mornings not at all), and a bit more choice in bread. The hotel has their own parking lot, which is a plus if you have a car with you.

Unkomplizierter checkin und die Koffer konnten untergestellt werden. Nette Rezeptionisten. Modernes Zimmer, gemütliches Bett und ausreichend Platz. Netter Ausblick im 8. Stock Tolles Frühstück. Hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

We went for a 50 year bday...what a mistake..we had been 2 x and I especially chose this hotel on the way to Denmark because i knew it..arrived in hotel late...got a room on 1 st floor no airco and fridge not working. Called reception. Answer: our technical team hasn't reported anything.. airco working fine...my answer : but I am telling u it doesn't work...1 collegue came to say come to reception and chg room this colleague very friendly. second person saying ur room is fine....we go down and got the most unfriendly and rude receptionist I have ever met. I have worked in several hotels as a receptionist so I know really well what this work is all about..but this guy...I reserved this hotel making a detour on our route to Denmark but had I known I would never have done this I paid for a superior room..no airco no fridge..was transferred with rolling eyes and shaking head into room with huge lump of hair on floor dirty bathroom glass and had to go back to rude receptionist to get bed done for my child who had just had operation and wasn't feeling well..we have been staying in a lot of Novotel hotels..london paddington Hammersmith hannover brussels...but this leaves a very bad experience and I am so sad I chose this hotel for such a special occasion.
