On the website, this place is advertised with free breakfast. When we finished checking in the person said there was no breakfast (free or not) because it's winter(?!?).
I insisted that this was mentioned in the listing and he all but yelled at me that I could go somewhere else.
It was late and I had young kids in the car so that wasn't an option.
To be clear - you don't have to serve breakfast, but you can't advertise falsely. People book and plan based on these things.
Then, we could not get the TV to show anything! They had an Xfinity box, but all it would display was the settings page. We pressed every button, Googled the model - nothing worked.
Finally, there was no lock (not even a broken one) in the bathroom.
Terrible experience and terrible service.

I was pleasantly surprised with this property! I've been travelling to this area for work for many years, yet never stayed here. The room I stayed in was quaint and clean with a beautiful view of the Connecticut River. The property is a little off the beaten path, just outside of town with no other buildings around it. The couple that owns it was amazing and friendly. Definitely a place I will stay again!

Our bathroom was gross… Poor lighting, a toilet that wouldn’t flush, and the shower that kept changing temperature from scalding hot to freezing cold… Management said they fixed the toilet but did not - they only made the toilet more gross… They did offer to let us change rooms but we were too settled in by then… Our previous stay was a bit better so we tried it a second time. It will be our last…

Had to kill about 50 of them.
Later discovered very small biting flys on me . Room was dark. No overhead light.

The bigggest problem was the low water pressure, but hot water eventual came and I was able to shower.
Otherwise, this was a low price leader for a college town Homecoming weekend

It’s not worth the money. I cannot say it was dirty but it was not clean either. Also the property was so old and the problem is that it is not cheap either.

Nice friendly check in. Wonderful River view. Wildlife viewing. Wooded setting. Plenty of shelf space in bath room. Convenient location to both West Lebanon and Hanover. Noisy neighbor turned down TV upon request.

We had a room with a view of the river. It was nice. Room was a little on the small side for the price. The a/c worked yet it is kinda blocked by the tv stand. The bed felt like you were sleeping on a rock. Overall the place was nice quiet place tucked away in the woods. Bring what you need cuz there is no store close by unles you drive back to town. They had some kind of breakfast yet i didnt eat it. Check out is at 10 little earlier than i like yet my biggest thing was the steep price. You can find a way better place to stay for $200 .
