Lovely stay, clean,comfortable, and was greeted by the host who was great and very welcoming. Would recommend The Silk House definitely.

We only booked this hotel because it was advertised as having ‘parking available’ but it was general street parking - there was no designated parking which is obviously what we expected.
There was no bedside cabinet on one side - so no lamp, and no way to turn out the light except to get out of bed. The table lamp we did have was very cheap looking and flickered. There was no mirror in the room - only in the bathroom and that misted up after our bath. The Jacuzzi bath was good, if a little noisy. Water pressure wasn’t great. Our room faced the road so lots of traffic noise for most of the night. Host was welcoming and polite.

What more can I say? Stayed in a new room this time with a fabulous bathroom. Just a great place to stay. Won't stay anywhere else when I am.in Leek.

Stayed there for valentines, Nick upgraded us to a better room as we were a couple which was lovely. I had a tyre blowout the next morning and he couldn’t do enough to help. Sourced me another tyre and got us going again. What a gent - would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Nick was extremely helpful and made sure that everything was just right for us to enjoy our weekend stop-over in Leek. The Silk House is very well situated for all that Leek has to offer in terms of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. A perfect weekend and we will definitely stay again when we’re next in the area.

We expected a lot more for the price...a few tins of paint would be a start,our bathroom as nice as it was smelled damp and mouldy
Generally the inside of the hotel could do with some tlc
Looked lovely from the outside but the inside is terrible....Premier Inn next time
