Premier Inn Leicester City Centre

The location is perfect but the room standard is varied. Couple months back I stayed in the renovated room without bath but shower. I wanted to the same type of room this time but I was put into a disable room which had some very strong chemical smell and the bathroom conditions was really bad with mould and colour. Tried to change room but was not allowed. They said they could only move me to another disable room even I paid the same price for the renovated room.

I used to like this Premier Inn as I was quite happy with my previous stay. However this time we were allocated with a low floor and not renovated room. When I requested for room change, I was requested to wait at the lobby till 3:30pm whilst the check-in time printed in the hotel confirmation was 2pm. During the stay there was no room cleaning, and no replenishment of toiletries which was made our stay not comfy. Pictures #1 and 2 are room not renovated and pictures #3 and 4 the refurbished one.

Usual good stay at a PI, room was clean, bed was comfy, shower was good and its in a good location, walking distance from city centre and the De Montfort Hall, only gripe couldn't open the window for fresh air not even the miserly 100mm you can normally open. Breakfast as always good value and plenty of choice

Room was typical for this style of hotel, very clean. The parking was really handy and easy to pay for. The star was Bony who was there to great us for breakfast. I don't think I've ever been made to feel so welcome, not for years. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was like this for everyone. Carrying an elderly gentleman's eggs to getting things speedily for others. It's not often these days you get a greeting like that and such thoughtfulness.

I was there April 19-22. Comfortable beds. Lungy and nice. As usual good service at breakfast. A special thanks to Paula.

Stayed there for first time this weekend. Right in the heart of the city centre near transport facilities. On a high floor so very quiet. very nice comfortable room and extremely comfortable bed (as usual).

This is my go-to hotel when staying in the city. Location is brilliant and the staff have always been very helpful. This was my first occasion staying in a Premier Plus room 804! Wow. The room is a big upgrade on a standard room. The standard rooms are great but the Premier Plus just have the extra little luxuries that make a stay so much nicer! Whole room was spotless and quiet. I will be staying in a premier plus room again. Reception staff on this visit couldn’t do enough to help, including answering questions about the room amenities.

I spent one night at Premier Inn for a business trip. It's easy to find by road and right next to the train station if you're travelling by train. Staff were very friendly and professional. Room was excellent and Wi-Fi was good. Everything was spotlessly clean. Car Parking available.

Had a really nice time with the missus as we had to attend a family function in the city . Stayed in room 904 for a couple of days and loved the location. Right in the centre of Leicester. Bed was comfortable and room was lovely. The staff we really helpful and knowledgeable and I will be coming back again as we are frequent visitors to Leicester. Only slight problem was a leaking tap that wouldn't turn off in the bathroom, but their maintenance guy Ashley was brilliant coming straight away and sorting it out in no time. Lovely lad and a real hard worker. Made sure everything was fine with us before going. Hope he gets recognised for all the hard work he does. In a nutshell. Need to be in the city stay at this place.
