The rooms are very comfortable and Cosy , nice environment, the hotel is close to the metro station and there are many restaurants around

We booked a double comfort room but we’re put in a disabled access room. Neither of us have mobility issues and are supposed to be on a romantic weekend away and we thought by booking a 4 star hotel we would get the romantic atmosphere advertised on line. We asked about room service when we arrived as it was quite late and were met with a response of “nothings open” despite the website advertising 24hour room service with no extra charge and free water from the mini bar. When we got to our room there was a notice on the side with information about the room service hours which also stated there would be a 3€ charge just to call down to room service, as well as a note on the mini bar stating a 1.50€ fee for water. Our bathroom does not have the bidet that’s stated in the room description online and the toilet is raised far too high for either of us to use comfortably. The rest of the bathroom is completely bare, with not so much as a shower curtain. Our safe does not work, despite someone coming to change the batteries inside and still no resolution to our issue! We have only one bedside table and had to resort to using the cheap plastic chair as a replacement on one side of the bed. The receptionist was less than cooperative when we went down to discuss our feelings/options and we were met with “we don’t change the bookings this is what you booked”. After showing her our booking and where it stated what we paid for she responded with “we’re full so we can’t move you unless you want to sleep separately or if someone cancels” . We feel as though we have been lied to and don’t feel as though we have been provided with the service that we have paid for. Having seen the room pictures online of what we had actually booked we are completely disgusted and can’t help feeling a bit discriminated against due to us being a same sex couple. It’s our first time in Milan and this has truly tainted our view and will probably not be coming back at all.

Molto soddisfatto. Unico piccolo problema è che l'ascensore dal secondo piano non ci faceva scendere per andare al piano terra, dovevamo per forza andare al -1 per poi salire con le scale. Ma è l'unica nota leggermente negativa in un'esperienza ottima.

Nice and modern hotel in good location with great views over the Lago di Lugano. The staff was professional, experienced and super friendly. Breakfast was always good with plenty of choice. We'll definitely stay again at Grand Hotel Campione!

It was truly fabulous stay!!! We've been deeply impressed: The best view on the Como lake and one of the best views ever!!! Service personnel – friendly and caring, with that personal touch that you won’t get in most of the big hotels. You couldn’t get the better value for the very decent at the Como lake price! We had a mixed experience at the hotel. Firstly, the hotel is great. The staff at the reception and concierge is very nice and helpful. The room is comfortable and since we took the lake view balcony room it was amazing. They have a very nice bar at the hotel with a nice poolside with some amazing views of lake Como. The location is also convenient just 10 mins from the train station. The only bad experience I had was today afternoon at their bar. They have a very weird rule that if you want to sit at the bar you have to order minimum 1 drink per person. I understand this rule is fair for outsiders but I think this rule shouldn’t be applicable for hotel guests. Anyways, my wife and I were sitting and the waiter came saying we cannot sit if we don’t order drinks. (This is when half the bar was empty btw). We told him no worries just bring us water, we’ll have that and immediately leave. First he refused but after that he said ok. But he didn’t bring us water for 25 minutes while he was still serving guests who even came after us. When I went up to complain at the bar, Daniele at the bar started shouting at me saying I need to be patient because it takes time! Huh? How much time for a glass of water? Then he started saying you should order 2 drinks instead of just 1. I think this completely ruined my experience of the hotel and this is not how guests should be treated. Especially when you’re charging around 800 USD per night. I mean , common! I even went up to complain at the reception about this but they didn’t really seem to care

After a long time, finally an overnight stay in this beautiful hotel. Closed because of Covid, but now open again. Good: Friendly staff, very nicely furnished rooms (especially deluxe rooms and up). Great pillows, fast wifi, good lighting concept, nice terrace, big bathroom. Not so good: Breakfast room a bit cold in terms of a**osphere

The hotel is quite big. The have several floors and a lot of rooms. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The service was friendly, especially at the bar and in the morning, also the hotel has an impersonal atmosphere. The breakfast was good and rich. They also have a restaurant, which we didn't try. They also have several conference rooms, so the hotel is suiteable for business meetings. It is located quite far from the center of Milan, so it is not so good for a touristic stay. But as there are several factories around and the trade fair is only half an hour by car (without traffic jam), it is a good location for business travellers. The acess by public transport is diffcult, but they offer free car parking.
