Too much bad service from too many people to think this was a one off. Reserved a table for 6 people ( 3 x2 ) at 830pm, Despite being informed of this time limit , it took over 30 mins to get our first drink, Second drink took another 30 mins despite asking 3 different waiters. Also a credit card was taken off us when we sat down and the wrong one returned when we came to leave. I’m not keen on losing sight of my credit card for 1.5 hours and certainly wouldn’t recommend it given what happened later. When a table of 2 became free next to us we shuffled along the bench - to get away from the door. We were informed we couldn’t do this as the table next to us was reserved — this was clearly not true as there were a whole host of empty tables at the front but only 2 with reserved on them. When challenged the waitress backed down. We appeared to be the only ones eating - which makes the service even more appalling as we were attempting to spend some money, rather than have one drink and sip it for the rest of the night? which seemed to be what everybody around us appeared to be doing. At 10 pm when some of the group came, , the wrong credit card was brought to sign off our bill. When the correct credit card was brought service was automatically added , but then on the credit card slip the bill indicated a further gratuity with a blank for the tip and total. Food was so delicious but with this kind of service this Hotel will be closed soon.... A nightmare.....
