For such an expensive room, the decor was extremely disappointing. I had wanted to use the hot spring that came with the room, but just looking at the remnants of hair and dust in the hot spring water, I gave up on using it. The bathroom area was also very dark and not great for ladies doing their makeup. The worst part was that I had to take a buggy to the room and I was alone, there were no specific instructions on how to know when the buggy is called for me, no help for my luggage, and I was dropped off and told that my room is in that general direction (it was at night so it took me a while to figure out where my room was). In the morning when I called reception for a buggy to take me to the breakfast spot and later on for check out, I had waited for a long time without knowing whether the buggy was really coming - it was just a very uncomfortable and inconvenient process. But the breakfast spread was good, and the surrounding areas beautiful for pictures.

The place was deep in the mountains so it was a bit difficult to get to without a car, but once arrived, it was an expensive looking hotel. However, the service leaves much to be desired. For an expensive hotel, there were no service staff to get our luggages, and after checkin, there were no directions on where the lift was. We booked 2 rooms, and the other room they gave was in another building, which required a buggy. If it’s a family booking, the hotel should have informed us beforehand that there would be such an inconvenience. Breakfast was good, the room was nice, but there was also only one bathroom for a room that fits so many so that’s something that could have been thought through as well. Apart from that, the public hot spring in the hotel was great and beautiful, and the breakfast spread was great and have many variety. The surrounding area was beautiful for pictures, so that’s a plus too.

There is no "futon guest room type" . We book this room to avoid our son fall from bed. The recepetion said this room types dont exist. So they move us to "shaun the sheep room". Its late at night so we took it. The food was ok. Staff is nice. The pool is increditable.

The hotel surrounding is very outstanding. And got a warm welcome from the staff and have a good hospitality

The hotel upgraded us when my husband disclosed his Wyndham status, which was decent of them. However, it was very strange that an international brand chain hotel would turn off all the lights on the second floor public areas to save electricity. I know it’s energy saving, but does no favors for the brand.

Excellent hotel with superb service. During check-in, our receptionist Da Tingting 大婷婷 was very prompt in assigning room and provided us all the information to explore the resort. We added wechat to communicate during our stay and she was very fast to respond to our requests, including asking for more bottles of water than provided, setting up our room's hot spring for us and also arranging for buggy ride to the main building for breakfast next morning. She also extended our checkout by 1 hour upon requests. Ramada Guergou is the best hotel we stayed at during our Chuanxi roadtrip. The breakfast had variety and quality. And the experience here is definitely worth the money spent.

for this price tag, very bad service. not worth it.
