Lovely hotel within the National park. Room was of decent size, clean and comfortable. Air-condition was not on as the weather was cooling esp at night and early morning. We opened the window to cool down the room as it was warm in the afternoon when we checked in. Had trout fish dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The fish could be bigger but breakfast was very good for such a small hotel in the park. There is a truffle shop and bar in the hotel.

Beauty with nothing else. The hotel yes in look new and very pretty, that’s all it had to offer looks. Can in mid April, it was unusually warm in the area and while trying to turn the ac on was advised that it is off for the entire hotel until Mid May. We tried sleeping with the window/ door open but there are NO screens and mosquitoes and bug flying into the room. I had no choice because it was so hot and to place wet towels in order to cool off and put over my head so not to get bitten. At the least invest in fans and screens. Worse sleep ever!! No pool nothing to refresh one selves. Food was average. Would not recommend or ever stay.

What makes this place extraordinary and cool is mesmerizing combination of stunning wild surroundings and the urban vibe of the hotel. Wi-fi works flawlessly and hotel is, in my opinion, perfect for family get-aways, digital nomads stays and for middle sized corporate meetings. The location in the middle of the old historical village Ličko Petrovo Selo, wild nature all around and the proximity of CRO-Bosnian border makes the whole experience very unique and kind of mind-boggling. There are many very interesting places to discover and see (beside the magical Plitvice lakes!) and it's not very far away from capital Zagreb and the airport. Hotel restaurant offers, aside very nice meaty options, variety of delicious vegan dishes too and the pastries are made by local masters. Rooms are cozy and modern with crispy cotton bedding. Well-equipped gym with large windows is located in the ground floor, they have outdoor swimming pool too. Highly recommend it!

Hotel Lyra provided one of the best experiences of my life. The rooms were excellent, and the breakfast and meals were delightful. The standout, however, is the incredibly hospitable staff. They go above and beyond to ensure your comfort, always delivering top-notch service with a smile. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Lyra Hotel near Plitvice Lakes National Park in November of 2023. The hotel was very nice with ultra modern rooms that were comfortable and clean. The hotel was in somewhat of an odd location with the nearby village being almost completely abandoned from the war in the 1990’s. The homes and buildings still showed the devastating impact of the war. The village is very close to the Serbian border and many of Croatian residents chose not to move back with Serbia in such close proximity. The hotel was near Plitvice Lakes National Park which is absolutely stunning. The hike down to the lakes is a must and not that difficult. The park is well worth a lengthy visit.

This is a very convenient hotel near Plitvice Lakes. The hotel is new and designed stylishly. It is not in a business area, so there are no nearby stores or restaurants. The skylight in my room was a great touch.

Visited this hotel with a tour company. The hotel was beautifully decorated with a contemporary style. However, it was totally impractical. There was no place to put your luggage other than the floor,the modern light fixtures provided insufficient lighting, the telephone was not near the bedside nightstands . There was no electrical outlets on one side of the bed ,therefore you could not plug in the light or charge phone. The air conditioner was turned off even though their advertisement specifically states there is a/c. They said it was turned off because it was not the season even though Croatia was having unusually higher temperatures. Would not recommend.

Modern hotel, spotless. food was very good and lots of choices. Located in a quiet area not much around. Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. We were on a tour to visit the park so did not spend much time at the hotel
