Hotel Liege dengan Bar

Petit séjour 1 nuit en couple. Concernant l'accueil, ça était, le personnel était très agréable et expliquer assez bien les choses. Attention à votre arriver, leur parking souterrain est payant ( 20€ ) et ce n'est pas préciser dans le descriptif. Concernant les chambres, je n'ai pas aimer, certes elles sont moderne et très propre, mais pour dormir c'était horrible. Le bruit de la ventilation est très forte, beaucoup de lumière venant de l'extérieur pénètre dans la chambre, malgré les rideaux. Le matelas, pour ma part, était horrible, trop mou, mais ma copine, elle, a apprecier. Pour la salle de bain, il n'y a pas d'eau très froide, le + froid est tiède. Notre douche était mal isoler, de l'eau sortais de la porte. Il y avais 3 boissons ”” Offert ”” dans le frigo, ça, c'était vraiment très bien. Pour les ascenseurs, c'est assez spécial, il y en a 3, mais 1 seul qui vas au SPA. Ils sont très flippant, très petit, font énormément de bruit, il ne faut pas être claustrophobe, surtout qu'une fois, on est rester bloquer temporairement dedans car le bouton pour la réception ne fonctionnais pas. Concernant le SPA, il est super, il y a un sauna classique, un sauna Finlandais, un sauna à onde, un hammam, une piscine ( assez petite malheureusement ) et un jacuzzi magnifique, si vous avez la chance d'y entrer, car il a toujours des personnes dedans.. Le petit déjeuner était impeccable, énormément de choix, rien à redire. En conclusion, c'est un bel hôtel certes, mais qui ne mérite pas le prix payer ( 170€ la nuit, et encore c'était avec remise.. ) et qui équivaux plutôt à un 4 étoiles qu'un 5, en me basant sur des précédentes expériences. Pour l'extérieur, Liège, on a pas trop apprécier, première et dernière fois. Énormément d'endroit pauvre, abandonner, en travaux, très sales.. On est content de rentrer, c'est triste à dire.

We reserved a standard room with breakfast and boy did we like. The room was very spacious and we got access to the spa. The Breakfast is fresh. A lot of variety and we loved every minute of it. A must stay. The spa was nit the biggest but fun when you want to relax after a day of shopping. Spa is open from 8 am till 10 pm. Bath robes and slippers are provided in the room. The hotel is situated 10 min walk from the old town.

Hotel de la Couronne Liege is right in front of Gare de Liege Guillemins and just next to the Flixbus stop, so if you're just dropping by Liege, the location is perfect. There's a Carrefour Express next door and a Burger King. Gare de Liege Guillemins and the hotel are somewhat far from the museums and historical locations but the city area/Liege is so small and navigable that it's not a big deal. Couronne hotel is one of those rare European boutique hotels that still maintain comfortably sized rooms. Rooms at this price range are often quite small (even in newer European and Asian 3-star hotels) so that's a plus. Couronne is no frills (no coffee, tea, minibar, etc) but the beds and bath are clean and comfortable. Plus, there's a nice airy salon on the first floor where those staying at the hotel can sit and lounge around. There are plenty of fry-ups, a great Japanese restaurant (Nagoya), and an Aldi close by. I had a bad allergy on my second night and the staff at 1 am were helpful despite my limited French. I'm not the best at picking hotels, but Hotel de la Couronne was a good choice for my two nights.

The hotel has a good location for people that want to travel to visit the city. We have arrived there on the 29th of September, at around 19:30. If you stay more than 1 night, is certainly not worth it. There is no air conditioning in the room and you cannot even open the window. I am always sleeping with the window open, so I felt suffocated by the hot temperature in the room. I have arrived there, and the receptionist was talking on her personal phone, with the headphones in the ears. When we wanted to do the check in, she seemed annoyed. She gave us the key from the room and than I have asked her some information about the parking. Her answer was not helpful at all. However, that was not the problem, but the manner she said it. I was talking in French, than she starts in English. She made us feel like we are so stupid, like how is it possible to not understand how the parking system works? Later, I go again there to buy some water, I say “good evening”, she said nothing. I want to pay, and while talking on the phone she is like “hah, 5€”. The other staff was helpful and nice, but the first lady we met, she really disappointed us and changed completely our opinion about the hospitality in this hotel. If she hates her job that much, why not looking for another one? Furthermore, when going to the breakfast, most of the food was gone. There were no more pistolets and we asked the breakfast lady if she still had. Unfortunately she said that they are finished, but she can send someone to buy more, without any problem. We refused, because we now it is not her fault and we didn t want to give them more work than they have. *** the breakfast lady was the nicest (she was dressed in blue and had glasses) - she really deseves 5 stars The blond receptionist guy - always smiling and ready to help :)

Easy to find in city centre, has parking next door. Reception lobby is more of a bar/restaurant - definitely unusual, but we had no problems checking in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable with some nice design touches. Wifi worked well. Only -ve was aircon is behind curtain so didn't work well at night, but will only matter on hottest days. Breakfast was good, although we ate out in the evening as we felt we ought to see the evening life on the streets of Liege. Traffic is currently tricky because of tram line construction, but will be great once that is finished. DOn't let it put you off.

The hotel is very quiet, good position. In view of the previous comment I'm glad we refused the room behind the llft & went instead to 306 at the end of the corridor. The staff are friendly & helpful & breakfast is fresh & varied. But the room ! Clearly the designer has never spent a night in it. Drab colours, black furniture & a dog's-mess-brown sash across the beds. The open bathroom may not be to everyone's taste ( it wasn't to ours ). The reading lights are recessed over a wide wooden ledge & just not strong enough to read in bed. The light switches are difficult to get at under the ledge. For those who like to shave, illumination is only available on forehead & the tip of the nose : the rest is in shadow. Possibly the toughest challenge was blocking the water in the basin : there is no plug. Perhaps there is, in the elaborate high-tech tap fitment. If so, neither reception nor housekeeping, both appealed to, knew anything about it. Finally shoved a hand -towel into the plughole, just like the bad old days in Eastern Europe. Take your own

You can see the hotel once you step out from the train station. The hotel is a bit dated, but when you enter the room, you have everything you need. The bed is very comfortable, bathroom is very clean. They even have a luggage holder in the room. The Old town is a bit far from the train station, you can easily get a bus. If you walk to the Old town, it is a easy walk and you can also explore the city. The hotel has a restaurant, very popular, food is good as well.

Very clean and modern—just what you need for a restful night in Liege. The service was really friendly, and the rooms have a cute nod towards the rich Belgian culture of cartoons. Each room is decorated with a different cartoon theme! The free breakfast in the morning was a nice convenience to have. Baked goods, cereal, fruit, meats, coffee, tea… basically everything you could want. Location was really easy to walk to the train station, and just a little walk to the historic center of the city.

Petit séjour dans ma ville natale et superbe découverte de ce petit hôtel de neuf chambres dans un bâtiment datant du XVIII siècle vaut le détour, endroit sympa et atypique pour celui qui apprécie les bâtiments anciens, vielles pierres et bâtisses d’un autre temps, c’est endroit est fait pour vous. Avec tout le confort pour un agréable séjour. Je recommande pour les personnes nostalgiques qui ont envie de vivre une expérience différente des grands hôtels.
