The owner is very kind. He let us check-in early since the room was ready. He also understood when we had to leave early due to a canceled flight. I appreciate the accommodation. The castle is beautiful and the decor is nice. Just an FYI, there are two dogs on the premises that run and bark a lot. We heard barking at 11 pm at night. They also were very friendly... and would have their heads in your lap while you ate breakfast. I know some people wouldn't mind this, but some people would.

We’ve travelled La Belle France for many years…. Ligre is an ideal destination to explore the Loire and this stunning accommodation provides you with welcoming and attentive host …. Comfortable and well appointed comfortable room…. super hot shower/bath…Breakfast in the sun is plentiful and so very tasty…Francoise prepared 2 evening meals for us delicious and deserves restaurant rating ! Wine also as good. Nothing would disappoint at this superb Chambre d’hote.

We had an amazing stay at chateau Prince Grenouille. We have stayed in several chateau in France but Chateau Prince Grenouille has something special. We were impressed by the authenticity of the building and the rooms. It is situated close to several well known restaurants and other châteaux to visit. Our host was welcoming and gave us the right information about where to eat and what to visit. All in all we had a very good experience! (Breakfast was delicious with home made jam and pancakes) Thank you so much!
