Leye｜The Mountain-View Luxury Terrace Hotel (at the Big Waterwheel)with Breakfast and Afternoon Tea

Perfect score from me, they went above and beyond. The location is great - in a quiet street in the old town that's close to all the attractions and the road. The rooms were really clean, modern and spacious, and the internal courtyard was really cute and a great place to hang out. They offer breakfast and afternoon tea, both which were excellent. However, the standout was the service - Nana took care of us and made our experience amazing. She arranged airport pickup and dropoff, afternoon tea to be sent to our rooms, places to eat and offered to help us organize outings to the jade dragon snow mountain. She was an invaluable source of knowledge and truly made our Lijiang experience that much smoother. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Lijiang!

Accom is very new and nice( and the room is very big. The butler (NaNa) accompanied us for ancient town tour and was super attentive. She prepared our afternoon tea set in the evening for us as we came back late from day trip. We had a great stay there and the location is very good,

Great amenities and friendly staff! The manager/concierge in particular was super helpful and helped us plan our itinerary and coordinate tickets over WeChat. The breakfast and afternoon tea were both excellent. The location is less than a five minute walk from the north entrance to Lijiang Old Town but our room was very quiet and dark at night with the windows shut. We were able to check in earlier than planned (around 1pm) and also checked out late (around 2pm) with no problems. 乐野更像一家精品酒店。它的位置闹中取静，位置极好。既避开了嘈杂的噪音, 又离古城的重要景点很近, 到大水车只有几步之遥。 民宿内外的装修相当的新, 设施完备。有较丰富早餐和精美的下午茶。客房门外的回廊面对的中庭, 是休息和享用下午茶的好地方。 民宿有前台和专业的管家帮助规划日程, 提供订车，订票等服务。

I was full of hesitation at first because my mother-in-law has asthma & Lijiang weather was colder. But choosing to stay at this place turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. ✅Extremely accommodating and genuinely caring ✅If I’m not mistaken, they even upgraded our room. It was incredibly cozy and comfortable ✅They kindly allowed us to check in early, which helped so much as we were heading out for our noon trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge ✅This is where I met a 6th-generation Pu’er tea expert, an experience I truly treasure. It comes with the stay 🥹❤️ ✅The free shuttle to the train station was very reassuring, especially when I was feeling worried ✅They made sure we were well fed and even prepared halal friendly breakfast items like eggs for our Snow Mountain trip. Besides knowing we had to leave early they even pack again another breakfast so we could eat on the train back to Kunming ✅ The infrastructure and overall setup were excellent. Halal food are nearby & they help us to find it too 🥹 You get to view the beautiful Lijiang Old Town at the rooftop as well as the Snow Mountain. All in all, thank you for being such a special place in our Lijiang journey. Your kindness and thoughtfulness made this trip truly memorable. Writing this already makes me feel missing Lijiang again 🥹🧡

Highly highly recommend this hotel in Lijiang!! Cleanliness ✨ All areas of the hotel are clean and well maintained. The cleaners come to replace the towels and fold the beds daily so you can be rest assured that you’re staying in a hygienic environment 💗💗 Location 📍 Very convenient to explore Lijiang Old Town as the hotel is located right near its centre. It’s also in a quite convenient location to explore the rest of Lijiang. Service 🌟 Usually I find hotel services to be simply satisfactory but on this trip I was super impressed with the service provided by Leye Hotel. Not only did they have complimentary airport/railway pick-up and drop-off service (rare to see these days!) but they also created a WeChat group to communicate with us about activities offered by the hotel and tours of interest! We had a bit of a chaotic trip with one of us getting food poisoning and another getting altitude sickness and having to go to the hospital so it was very kind and professional of them to accompany us to the hospital. Amenities 🥰 Expect all the amenities you would from a larger 4-5 star chain hotel including shampoo/conditioner + free toiletries + fancy automatic toilet 🤭🤭 The rooms are spacious ranging from twin beds to three double beds so they can meet a variety of needs. They also have complimentary breakfast buffet with all the necessary staples but I highly recommend their rice noodles which had the perfect bouncy texture 🤤🤤 Bonus 😍 The hotel also has complimentary afternoon tea and tea service perfect for a more relaxed day. There’s also a tea making experience where you can see how Pu’er tea (the specialty of the region!) is made and get some as a souvenir to take home 🥰🥰 If I could I’d give them 88888888 stars out of 10 😹😹 I’ll definitely be returning for my next stay in Lijiang!! 🥰🥰

Staying at Leye is very pleasant, hotel is clean with modern facilities. Top of the hotel has excellent view of the Jade Dragon snow mountain as well. The guide nana(娜娜）was very helpful and catered to our needs. I would certainly consider staying in the future again.

Great experience. Near many attractions in the ancient city. Host will help to guide you around and buy things for you. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 2 nights, had excellent service and location there is a pickup service from the entrance of the Ancient City for your luggages. There are oxygen canisters provided for free when requested in case you require them. Special mention to Duo Jie for being very accomodating to our requests, he packed us breakfast as we were leaving early for our trip to jade snow mountain.
