Banshan Lishe Designer Inn with View and Garden (Lijiang Shizishan)

This was one of the homeliest experiences we’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and their warmth was felt throughout our stay. A day before our arrival, the staff called to arrange transport to the inn. Upon arrival, they carried our luggage up to the inn (which is located inside the ancient town and a little way from the main road) and assisted us with planning our itinerary, booking tickets and arranging transportation to various attractions, making our trip much smoother and seamless. The environment was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. For those who don’t mind a bit of a climb, the location is excellent. Being right within the ancient town made it easy to explore everything on foot. One of the staff members went above and beyond by sharing her personal recommendations for local products and bringing us to interesting spots around town. We truly appreciated her help and friendliness. We also loved the freshly brewed tea offered to us every time we returned to the inn. It was perfect for warming up after being out in the cold and made us feel right at home. Chatting with the staff also allowed us to learn more about the daily lives of the locals. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lijiang. Great service, great location, and a genuinely warm and homely atmosphere.

The service was amazing, and people were warm and friendly. We were received with help to carry our bags through the cobblestone pathways. Ah Jie (the Manager) was very nice, treated us to tea reception and gave good recommendations of what to visit and do in Lijang. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. View from the balcony of the ancient town is beautiful. Ah Jie regularly checked on us when we return from trips and provided us early pack-away breakfast when we had to go out very early one of the mornings. Wished we stayed longer in this beautiful ancient town. Would love to go back again someday !! Thank you Ah Jie and team, wishing you all the best!

Beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. Our room was clean and spacious, with a good shower and comfy bed. Good breakfast provided, including when we were travelling. The staff went above and beyond on my birthday, decorating my room and buying me a birthday cake. Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, his thoughtfulness and hospitality were clear. A Welcoming "Lifesaver": Ah Jie arranged a pickup for us from the train station, a service that proved to be a lifesaver. Lijiang Old Town is known for its beautiful, hilly cobblestone streets, which are a nightmare to navigate with heavy luggage. He not only had a car waiting for us, but his staff also helped carry our large bags directly to our rooms, saving us from a challenging and exhausting walk. Comfort and Convenience: The rooms were a highlight—spacious, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. We were also treated to breathtaking views of the entire old town from our windows. The hotel's location within the town was perfect, allowing us to explore the vibrant streets and night markets at our leisure, even late into the evening. Personalized Service and Expert Advice: What truly set our experience apart was the genuine care Ah Jie and his team showed for our well-being. They were always on hand to assist with any request, no matter how small. Beyond simple service, they went above and beyond, offering personalized advice on local tours and attractions. Ah Jie even helped us secure a better deal on a mountain trip than what we could find online, which was a pleasant surprise and saved us money. We highly recommend staying here and making it your first stop for discussing tour options. The team's local knowledge and commitment to their guests will ensure you have the best possible experience in Lijiang, all while saving you money.

Luggage Services: luggage carrying service provided from taxi/DiDi drop off point to & from inn. You can call them to inform your time of arrival; or just pick up that China number calling you. Inn Services: breakfast 8.30-10am and tea (1.30-4.30pm). They recommend places to shop and restaurants to eat. If you’re traveling to Jade Dragon Mountain solo, you need to BOOK TICKETS! You can ask them to teach you how to book tickets online. Overall, the innkeepers / owners are really friendly & nice! Our stay was lovely because of their extra services Room: hygiene 10/10; facilities 10/10 (smart AI, room projector, smart toilet, amenities etc) Recommended Stay in Li Jiang Ancient Town 丽江古城 (thanks Xiao Fei for everything!)

the staff is friendly and help us a lot with our heavy luggage that go thru the stair. :) recommends hotel to stay.. close to Amandaya also.. :)
